King of the Hill’s joke still remains relevant. So many people are astoundingly ignorant about Asians. They’ve been here for a long time, it shouldn’t be that hard to get right. If you know the difference between England, Ireland, Scotland, and France then you should be able to know Karate is Japanese, and that not

It might be a little bit of both. I think I would have maybe liked the car when I was 12 years-old. Especially if it had flamethrowers and ejection seats.

Definitely way more complex than shown at face value, but then again this is exactly the sort of scenario that men face working and living with women in the real world. It’s a complex lesson to learn at a young age, but maybe it’s better to learn earlier when more open-minded than later when they’re likely set in

Not the brightest.

I was interested in playing my first Final Fantasy since FF6, but after this movie... not anymore.

(Sorry for the late comment—just watched the movie.)

Time to throw in the towel. Folks like him are absolutely unable to see the error of their ways, so there’s no point. I would venture to guess that he’s never changed his mind about anything.

Well, you’ve painted a well-rounded picture of yourself. Now we know for sure that you suffer from the Dunning-Kruger effect.

My theory is that these people project their own vices on the rest of the world, assuming that since they are or could be so corrupt and self-serving, then surely everyone else must be too.

You can say this about every single profession, but we know that most people are not crooked. Obviously there are companies that do sponsored research for things like “the health benefits of smoking tobacco” or “was the Deepwater Horizon incident really all that negatively impactful on the Gulf Coast ecosystem?” But

Ah yes, those scientists and their corrupt intentions. If only those obscenely rich scientists could be more honest and humanitarian, like the global energy companies.

“Durrr why people think! ME HATE THINK! Talking about think make me ANGRY! WHY PEOPLE NO JUST DO?!”

I’m pretty sure he just hit the Random button after writing about the top 5.

I’m not sure if you’ve ever been to the West, but your pictures look less interesting than my morning commute. (I do want to visit Acadia, though.)

I think the character animations look terrible during the conversations, but it matches my expectations and so I don’t have a problem with it. I do wonder when they’ll ever get better at that sort of thing though...

Let me ask you a sincere question:

Good. And then humankind progresses.

“Old White People” refers to a certain type of old white person of a certain generation with a certain type of 20th century worldview. For all intents and purposes, they will “go away” within a few decades and be replaced with those of 21st century sensibilities.

I’m with you, for sure. I can’t believe I have to say this, but I suspect no one here is counting medals by race or anything like that. As far as I’ve seen the complaints are about not getting even attention—that’s it.
