The current military spending is unwise. Billions on new planes and bombs when the ones we have are already superior to any other nations. Pennies for the men and women working 10, 12, 15 hours a day in the most difficult and dangerous jobs.

My best friend and college roommate for three years is a conservative, and was a member of the college Republicans. He was (and is) an exemplary conservative and one whom I wish the party was full of.
