I completely understood: sincere apologies if my post came across as a dis. That wasn’t my intention at all, but re-reading it I can see how you might take it that way.

Thank God we have these guys to protect us from the horrors of the Tesla direct sales model.

I think it’s entirely possible to be a moderate, or even moderately conservative, and still be utterly appalled at what has become of the Republican party over the last decade.

Well, sure, but they could have addressed that issue in other, less-ugly ways.

This is admittedly a completely insignificant point, but did these guys do their visualizations on a Commodore 64? What’s with the super-low resolution bitmap? Wouldn’t it have been useful to overly a bit of geographical information as well?

In all honesty I’d be happier about having MV Agusta logos on my AMG...

You can still block content based on origin. Try uBlock/NoScript/JS Blocker, etc.

I think that that’s true for everyone, at least when you’re maxing out on power. The point is that, when you’re using less-than-max power, which is most of the time, unless you’re sprinting or hammering up a hill (or the spin class equivalent), it’s much more efficient to try to apply power evenly throughout the

Very true. I wasn’t trying to slam your advice, which is good - just wanted to point out that it’s just a starting point on the way to “perfect” form.

Actually, proper form demands more than just pushing down and pulling up. Ideally, you should be continuously and smoothly spinning the cranks through their entire rotation (i.e. that also includes pushing the pedal forward at the top of the stroke and pulling back at the bottom, and everything in between).

Congratulations! Now, listen to the sound of one hand clapping.

It’s as if someone asked themselves “What would it look like if Picasso painted a Hyundai Sonata?”, and then proceeded to try and actually build it.

This question frequently comes up as a rejoinder in response to advocacy of the Tesla factory direct model, but I’m not sure why. It’s not as if Tesla doesn’t have a means to provide service for their cars (and a quite effective one at that). Although I suspect they may have to make some tweaks to their service model

True moral of this story - If you’re scooping jello out of the jello-shot cup with your fingers, you’re doing it wrong!

I’m afraid my congressman isn’t clear on how this investment would benefit the Koch brothers.

Stagnant incomes are definitely a problem in the US right now, but I think you’d be better off attacking that problem directly (the income piece), rather than trying to control cost of living. Property is a strictly limited resource, and thus there needs to be some way to ration it - if you don’t let the market do

This is actually Nic Cage attempting to escape from his own slowly-sinking career...

Lost it in a right turn. Somehow not surprising...

They forgot LeMons....
