Bear in mind the fact that the bad location data which caused the issue was sourced from an official Australian-government maintained database. I understand that Apple is responsible for trying to verify the accuracy of their map data sources, but there's plenty of blame to spread around in this case.

I think a test drive of the ubiquitous (in India) Piaggio 3-wheeler is in order. Perhaps a comparo with the Reliant Robin?

The sad thing is you could probably get that text patented...

Marginally confused as to why the Nikon D600 isn't on this list, as opposed to say the Olympus OM-D (a nice camera that nobody is going to buy). Only one Nikon DSLR allowed?

I love me some console racing sims (I'm a Forza guy myself), but am I the only one who finds this discussions of in-game ring times for a not-quite-existent-yet car - as it it bears some resemblance to actual reality - a bit silly?

I'm familiar with this lot, which is part of a large strip center in north Austin, and I can tell you with 100% confidence that there were plenty of empty spaces further away from the entrance to Kirby Lane.

Yes, I agree. However, I was shooting a 400mm zoom hand held, trying to control shake, and at the time I didn't have a lot of time to think about making adjustments necessary to drop the shutter speed (which would have involved an ISO change). Next time I'll plan a bit more in advance :).

Personally a big fan of this '69 Ferrari. I mean, look at those exposed exhaust headers. Pure sex.

Even looked pretty good after the fat lady sang...

From the Turn 11W bleachers, assuming I'm not stuck in traffic.

Nice write up. You did skip over a lot (understandably). Just to add on, here are a few more...

I'll second that. How someone drives in congestion is an excellent indicator of general driving skill. The inability of (unfortunately most) drivers to keep a constant speed in traffic is a leading cause of the dreaded accordion effect. I do my best to damp out the accordion oscillations by keeping a steady speed and

I'm pretty sure Steve Jobs would have had the iOS App Store team drawn and quartered by now if he was still around.

That is definitely difficult to watch.
