Fan boy here, but the e28 528e is ludicrously reliable. Sure, rubber degrades but with basic maintenance it will always get you where you need to go, forever. Mine’s got probably 280k on it, original transmission, engine’s never been open. The M20B27 is a version of the six that’s in the god’s chariot or whatever e30

 Chicks dig yellow.

Well you’re in luck. May I present the BMW Style 3 wheel:

If you street park, the worst car to own is anything you care about.

Cool sound, guys! It’s fake though? Then it sucks, sorry.

Looks great. I’ll bet that front clip is enough to total the car if you so much as bump a Little Tykes car.

I would have a similar idea. If I remember correctly though, that V12 returns 26 mpg... And as for reliability, it’s essentially 2 M30's welded together, how unreliable could it be?!?

Yeah, but in black or primer, with a blower and drag slicks? Try making a Ford Fairlaine that cool. There’s just something about the tri-fives that still oozes reckless cool, provided it’s ratty as hell.

I saw a really really nice perfectly patina-ed metallic green 1968 Country Squire for sale at a car show in Leeds, IA last year. For $6k asking, I really wish I could have driven it home.

I’m guessing that the inherent vibration resistance of any opposed 12 engine made the need for a true boxer unnecessary, thus not worth the added cost. What was it then for the Berlinetta Boxer, marketing?

I’m not sure I would call that Ford V4 great, but the sum of the parts sure do make that car great!

Still lust after one of these bad boys:

That clock in the photo above is actually a computer, called the On Board Computer (OBC II to be precise), and dings at 36 deg F. Not 40, not 32, not 0, 36 degrees F.

HEY BMW!!!!! MAKE OUR EYES HURT AGAIN!

Let me just say two things:

Last night:

Fuel pump under the car, on a very steep hill, in a summer flash flood, with lightning. I ended up very wet, but not on fire, and was able to drive down the hill.

I did too! The owner is a really nice guy. We were doing some work on a building in town that’s a member of the board for. That thing is epic.

Looks like a goddamned shopping cart and I love it.

There is only one answer:
