Good news investors! Tesla is scheduling a new vote to once again try to give Elon a $56 billion bonus!

Many boats spend most of their life out of water and on a trailer, so yes.

I genuinely have no idea how Tesla is meant to grow sales much more if not through a volume-seller like an affordable car.

Which... begs the question, if Elon gets to wave a wand and cancel the “Model 2", can he not be sued at this point for not having the shareholders’ interests in mind? This was a seemingly huge

He does. He literally had a hurried launch of a rocket on 4/20, because “Haha, I’m a fucking child”. He bought fucking twitter at a price way about it’s worth, because, haha, it’s a funny number. He’s a child. Not an intelligent child, not an average child, but the kind who needs special attention from dedicated

Funny you should mention “planet”. According to the Cybertruck website, it is:

He also said focusing on the Robotaxi is the “blindingly obvious move.”

“...caution against ever washing the truck in direct sunlight,...”

This is the car which can also serve as a boat, according to Elon Musk.

just throw bags of rice on it. what a pile of shit.

What’s the “dont wash in sunlight” shit all about?  Must one go sudsy only during an eclipse?  Only at 1AM?

Doesn’t explain the “warranty void” and the water ingress.

Sheesh! You have to put it in a special mode for it to cope with a fucking car wash? And if not, warranty is voided! What a fucking shitshow of a design and company.

So that means no sale for the very small percentage of Tesla stans (who probably would have bought it anyway if it had a Tesla logo on it) but a yes for the vast majority of the consumers who would want an EV truck that doesn’t look like it came out of a 1980's time travel movie.

Yeah I’d take this over the chubbletruck any day!

What happened to back the blue?

Your last paragraph points out an issue absolutely endemic in post-Jack-Welch corporate America. Carlos Tavares at Stellantis just received a big pay increase - including a 10 million euro bonus for “meeting electrification and software goals” - despite significant job cuts.

Alligator Alley is America’s autobahn. Drivers out there speed an average of 95-100 mph sustained with very little police presence. Anyone who travels it often knows where the police hide (always at the ends of each respective location).

When you combine a fast AMG model with this kid’s arrogance, entitlement, and

join the real world? You are telling me that a company the size of Tesla is not able to properly contact and inform the laid-off workers to let them know that they are being let go? Even if it takes an extra day or two?

come on now. Get your head out of your ass.

Would this not have required a WARN listing?

There’s nothing in the CA WARN listings for Tesla...

(for those unaware, WARN is short for “Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification”, a law that requires employers to provide at least 60 days notice of a large layoff)

Every one of those people have managers.
Back in aerospace, even my group of 200 ppl had other lower managers as team leaders.
During those layoffs, the team leaders would take members of their own team slated for layoff, and do it personally. It would go from 8am to 11am.
It was shitty, but it was at least done face
