Shareholders can’t do anything unless they’re on the board, and the board is made up of Musk’s hand-picked toadies. Musk will be at Tesla until he runs it into the ground.

Probably a little of both, sprinkled with a lot of investor backing.
If only he would get to the “recluse” stage of crazy rich guy.
In Elon’s defense, being such a spectacular asshole is a full time job.
Elon:
Leave it to Elon to make me side with shareholders, forget quarterly numbers, they just need Elon not to shipwreck Tesla on the rocks now.
White collar in no way needs 5x8. With globalization, there are overlapping jobs in nearly every market. 4x8 is plenty. You have to remember it doesn’t at all mean that an entire organization is shutdown for three days. It just means a single resource in a given unit might be out any given day.
For one: They won’t be allowed to be used in the EU unless Tesla can show they’re safe. And even then, it would probably be at most a pilot project in some specific (i.e. few) cities/towns.
Musk, back in April 2019 promised “1 million robotaxis”. “Next year”.
It’s clearly a knee jerk reaction, the way Trump calls any coverage that is unfavorable to him “fake news.”
“While Musk told investors this year that the elusive Model 2 would enter production in 2025...”
It’s definitely a much worse decisiion.
Robotaxi sounds like more key-jingling in front of investors to distract them from the trash fire the company really is to give the more false hope for a mythical new profit stream that will never pan out.
It’s so weird to say Reuters is lying instead of like reporting false or misleading information or not doing their due diligence. It’s like he thinks Reuters is a guy just pushing out headlines about whatever he feels like is happening.
Doesn’t matter if he believes it. It’s still a lie.
I believe Musk doesn’t believe that is the truth, but only because he rewrites reality in his head so fluently that he, like old Donnie T, no longer knows the difference between truth and lies. He genuinely cannot tell which is which, because it changes moment by moment, minute by minute, second by second, in his head…
Robotaxis - ROFLMAO. They can’t get what they have to work right.
Tesla cannot survive without a ‘working man’s model’. There’s only so many people out there with $40K or above pockets. That market is now saturated. It’s time for a true middle class, family/commuter car. Yes, I know it’s been said many times...
Going all in on Robotaxis might be a much worse decision than that stupid Cybertruck
If Musk is talking, then he’s lying.
