I’ve said it before, but I seriously think his pay bump in April was done ahead of this bad news becoming public. You can’t tell me that the company had no idea this is where things were headed at that point.

I absolutely agree that the hybrid Renegade and Compass would have sold here in the U.S. It was a misstep not to offer them for sale in the domestic market.

Well said. We picked up a ‘19 WK2 with the V8 as the “family hauler” for less than $55k and it came very well equipped (unlike previous Jeeps we have owned it has been remarkably trouble free). The dealer recently tried to get us to trade it in for a 4xE GC with a sticker of nearly $80k; what really struck me was that

The roll out of the non-CarPlay equipped units is happening with new vehicles, primarily the EVs. GM still offers CarPlay in most of their vehicles currently for sale. So it will be a while before we can measure any effect of this change on sales.

I can certainly appreciate that sentiment, but I’m already in the process of buying my “get it before they are gone” ICE sports car; and it’s not a 981. I did consider a Boxster/Cayman (and an Emira 6MT), but ultimately my lizard brain won that argument, so I’m buying something with much more power that makes an even

I love the Boxster (and the Cayman), but you gloss over one important consideration in this article: this GTS 4.0 starts at $102k before options. It truly is a wonderful car to drive, but at that price point so are others. To me the Boxster/Cayman that make the most sense are actually the cheaper versions; and no you

It’s because Elon is done with cars, it’s all AI and humanoid robots for him now. That’s the next “squirrel” for the dog that is the stock market.

Haha. I was thinking of exactly that rock when I read the first comment.

I’m sure it’s a technical and engineering masterpiece and that more “aggressive” looking versions will be on the way, but form what I’ve seen so far I think that visually the exterior is a step backwards from the Huracan. It’s a bit “tame” for the most part, until you get to the rear and all of a sudden it’s insanely

I agree. I’m not a fan of turbo everything. I understand why they do it, but I also think that it’s completely unnecessary to have road cars making 1,000 hp.

Yep. This is it, this is the one. That’s the real reason they went with Vance.

Tavares 60% salary increase in April this year, making him the highest paid auto exec, should definitely be called into question.

That’s pretty much exactly where I landed. My current commuter isn’t costing me that much to own and operate. An EV would actually cost me more to own and operate at this point in time.

Glutton for punishment.

“I got it because it looks like a Phantom”

Odds of Elon trying to sue reservation holders because they aren’t following through on the purchase?

I think all the headlights are LED, it’s just that not all the trims will have the “full width” light bar along the front. But I could be wrong about that, I’ve not been paying that much attention to this car.

“Still love the truck though!

Not just one, but two dorito spinners? Well, that’s the mark of a madman right there, so really no surprise on the Cybertruck.

We got close…. But jaguar rejected the Bertone B99 design.
