Part of living in a free society is having the freedom to make dumb choices on how you spend your money. They key is to keep everyone else from suffering the consequences of someone questionable choice. The mechanism here for doing that is the CAFE standards. Dodge has to balance the over all offerings to meet them. Read more

I think my response would have been “we have over 200,000 people dead from covid, and you’re reading fluff like this and commenting on it!  You’re a selfish idiot!”

I saw the heads and blocks for these being machined in France when on a business trip last year! They can create a fully machined part (block or head) in less than 1 minute. Absolutely crazy

As a devoted Abarth owner I’m sad that I was unaware of the existence of this. My parallel twin Honda CA77 Dream motorcycle agrees that this engine configuration is way cool.

We had both - the FIAT 500E with one kid and a big dog, and traded that for an i3 REx once we had two kids and the dog. Both used largely as a commuter car during the week and “family car” on the weekend. Both were great, but with differences.

Aerobiz (and its sequel, Aerobiz Supersonic) are quaint by the standards of 2020 and definitely show the limited scope of the games given they had to run on an SNES, but they were massive time sinks back in the day. Read more

Wow, deeply weird that an Ubisoft creative director from back in their rampant sexual harassment wild boy days would have a flagrant yellow peril take. Just curious and curiouser.
