I just wanted the controller, but those were even more limited despite being able to be used on more devices. Such stupid planning. I’ve seen eBay bidding on that little $10 controller going up to $90 some dollars earlier. There’s some real impatient people out there.

Under 500? Most of the Best Buys and most Targets around me got around 30 each which puts it over that for the Minneapolis St Paul area not even including stock at Walmarts, Gamestops, and Toys R Us’. It was still shear stupidity on Nintendo’s part and regardless your point clearly stands, but I think under 500 might

Well, if any version of Xbox One might sell there this version has the best shot I’d think at least from a design perspective.

Spooky! Years of event streaming experience paying off in spades... and in smart advice.

Yeah, Figure Prints I think it was called. The company was actually founded by one of the creators of the original Xbox, Ed Fries.

Yes, the game is designed around itself, as is obvious, but yes also the story that they then use to explain or tie that gameplay together is designed with the other games in mind. No they probably aren’t thinking about an entire timeline when they do everything, or even most things, but when one game’s story events

The way the stories from the games unfold, they are clearly made with a relation to the other games and connecting to them in someway. They don’t necessarily think about the entire timeline, but the stories are written clearly building off of events from the other stories whether they are trying to follow up on them

Of course they make their games with gameplay first, that's properly how most any game should be made regardless of story. That still doesn't discount the fact that they then go in and write a story for the game they are making which fits into some location somewhere in the chronology of games they've already made.

Except even from the first game to the second they said Zelda 2 takes place after the original, and then when Link to the Past came out Miyamoto said it took place before the others. They've always been placing them into some kind of timeline.

Black Canary

People keep saying that Garona heritage thing is a discrepancy, but in the games we were originally told she was half human as well. It was revealed much later that she was actually half Draenei if I remember correctly. This is actuallythe same as the lore... they just have to get far enough along to make that same

Yeah, unfortunately that’s how it is. I’d totally trade away all the Dead Rising exclusivity to have SFV on Xbone. Paying for the online for both systems is more than I want to do. Especially just to play SF online. Beyond that game, I don’t really use my PS4 for online multiplayer.

Perhaps, but it’s also an uphill battle trying to sell to a very very small install base at a console’s launch.

Yeah, I think all the crazies have probably now jumped over to threatening the writer of Captain America. Can’t wait to see where they go next. Ugh, there’s some days where I just want to end my internet connection forever.

Came across a team with FOUR freaking Torbjorns and a Bastion in arcade mode a couple of times already. On a team of randos it seemed insurmountable to take a capture point.

The folly of having watched Tosh.0 (aside from the obvious) is that now this is all I can think of when I hear “rip and tear.” Far scarier than anything Doom has ever thrown at me *shudder*

And what does that have to do with the previous point? Blizzard has never invented genres, just put out tweaked and really polished versions of them. How is this different than any game in their history? It’s not like they just copy and pasted TF2. 20 or whatever very different playing characters would suggest

....? Blizzard’s parent company purchased Activision. I really don’t think Blizzard is subservient to Activision in their scenario or they probably wouldn’t be able to spend over half a decade making Titan and then cancel it.

He’s supposed to be Call of Duty Bro. That’s the joke behind the character. There’s a great making of video about how everything about the character is designed around that. COD players are going to complain that there’s no sprint, so that’s how they came up with his shift ability, his super is auto aim, stuff like
