Black Sun and Xisor’s race are canon as well as they appeared in the Clone Wars animated series. Darth Maul actual co-opted them and a few other underground mobs to help him take over Mandalor for a bit until Palpatine put him in his place. One of the better arc’s of Clone Wars for sure.
