That Towncar still looks like a car where a dignitary would step down. It was as elegant as the S class but half the price tag.

Personally I think the one preceding it was the best looking of the whole lot.

I owned a Town Car exactly like the one above for half a decade. It was a great car. I traded it in for a SAAB 9-3 Aero 2.8T. It was great but I only kept it three years, and I am now a year into my second Town Car, a 2006. I definitely prefer the pre-facelift do last gen model, but I like the fact that my newer TC

Not surprised. In Richard Hammond's book about his jet car crash, the point was made more than once that the core team of Andy, Jeremy, James, and Richard were united in the agreement that if one of them couldn't be part of the show, then the show as they represented it would end. They thought it was going to happen

I never understood why Lincoln had the Mark Continental line and then the Town Car Continental line. They must have been milking the name for all that it is worth.
