That Towncar still looks like a car where a dignitary would step down. It was as elegant as the S class but half the price tag.
Personally I think the one preceding it was the best looking of the whole lot.
I owned a Town Car exactly like the one above for half a decade. It was a great car. I traded it in for a SAAB 9-3 Aero 2.8T. It was great but I only kept it three years, and I am now a year into my second Town Car, a 2006. I definitely prefer the pre-facelift do last gen model, but I like the fact that my newer TC…

Not surprised. I never understood why Lincoln had the Mark Continental line and then the Town Car Continental line. They must have been milking the name for all that it is worth.
