Somehow relevant;

Thank you, my man. Provided that neighbor doesn't show off his exhaust at 3AM, he seems like a fellow with good taste!

You've just won the fucking internet. All of it. xD

Basically. Steelies with center caps need to make a comeback on civilian vehicles; they look great. So long as we can add the bench seat (assuming these are already equipped with column shift) and make the color anything but municipal-budget white we'll be set.

One of these days I hope to be fortunate enough to see one in person. The only ones around here are the police interceptor versions, in service.

Good to know; brighter/varied colors are a much needed break from the normal silver, black, and white. :D

I chose that photo because of the Bullit-esque green color. Not many new cars come in green.

In essence, yeah. And my username has nothing to do with that bias.

The Taurus SHO. It's a fine looking sedan, if not a bit on the bloated side. Now if they'd add an option for bench seats with a column gear selector, and dog dish hubcaps, I'd be sold.

I'd again like to re-articulate that the pre-1987 models had much nicer tail lights. Also, the digital dash in these kicked ass.

Bench seats, column shift, proportions of a small ship, velour cloth interior, and hideaway headlamps. It doesn't get any better than that, folks. I'll take ten.

That was great! Here are a few other good ones.

My father's second car was an '86 in burgundy. A damn fine car it was; the styling was great that year, pop-up headlights kick ass, and the digital gauge cluster was something that still impresses me to this day.

You can't go wrong with these early GLs, though I do love the hatchback version.

Great car, but I never really cared for the 1987+ taillights. The ones that came before look a bit nicer to me.

This 1989 LTD Crown Victoria, in pretty good shape, with less than 28,000 miles on it, is going for $3,000 at a buy-it-now price. You can't go wrong.

This lovely 1989 Chevrolet Caprice. You can't beat an old American sedan; bench seats, column-shift, and velour cloth too! The bid is currently at $3,050.
