Its about efficiency with witch the horsepower is being extracted from fuel. Some machines are more efficient than others. That would be my guess.

Being left handed myself I’d just imagine I’d be better at piloting using my dominant hand. Also I’d imagine it’s good to have any possible advantage when fighting and other life or death situations like flying a fighter jet. Apparently it’s a naive and silly thinking.
