It's a tad over-priced I'll admit, but these cars are awesome. My dad has had several over the years, all of them slushboxes (and anyone who's owned a car with an A4LD in it knows how bad they can be), but they were still fun cars. Only downfalls with this car are no center-console e-brake and very finicky braking…
Anemic you say?
Auto-CP due to Crown Royal bag for shifter boot.
As someone who bought a coupe Fox-body Mustang with the intention of swapping in a Turbo 2.3 to replace the pathetic N/A 2.3, I can appreciate this. TurboCoupes have quite the pep to them and the block/rotating assembly is good for reportedly up to 400hp stock. As heavy as the TC is I can't imagine how fast the Bug…
Holy shit, can't believe someone else is aware of this movie. I watched it on a crappy local station years ago waiting for Pep Boys to change 4 tires (at a rate of 1 hr/tire) on my dad's truck. Watched it last week and can't help but wonder "who actually paid to have this movie made?"
Agree with all of these points, however people who expect you to pay for what they put into the car are idiots. Cut it back a couple grand and show me receipts for the work.
Replaced the clutch on my mk3 Jetta before I sold it. I understand your pain.

I lucked out that Dad was a huge car guy (bought his first car at 15, 3-speed Ford, he'd never driven a car before, no license, through the city, uphill both ways in the snow). He's owned a slew of cars over the years. As a wee-young thing I recall vert Corvettes, Mustangs, Capris, up to now, where he still has his…

Must be a long lost European relative of one Elwood J. Blues.
I'm about 90% certain this is the same guy who sold my brother his 65 3-speed Buick Skylark Gran Sport. I remember reading his ad and it was this detailed, used the same goofy font, and he bought it from the Pennsylvania/Delaware area. Guy knows his stuff, can't fault him for that.
