You don’t have to like the new system but it actually isn’t loot boxes. It’s not “basically the same with a different name”.
Randomness is at the heart of lootboxes, not knowing what you get combined with a low price of entry and that slight chance of getting something cool is at the very core of the business model.

    I’m fine with this.
My main issus with cosmetic loot boxes is both not knowing what I’m getting and the usually low chances of getting something good/that I actually want. Which is why I’ve never purchased one and probably never will.

Rocket League is basically the only multiplayer game I play and I don’t mind dropping

I just wish they would soft reboot the franchise or something and just turn it into a series of unrelated action/adventure/Rpg  in historical settings.

At this point the “series traditions” and overarching narrative just feel like they are getting in the way, both from a narrative and gameplay perspective

By all means kill him with a knife wound, but holy shit at least make it seem like some sort of legit plan or trap or strategy.

This kid has had the best job since the last season
Everyone else has to do stunts and express various emotions or engage in extensive green screen scenes where they have to react to stuff that isn’t there.

He just has to sit there with a blank face and act uninterested.
Next episode Jamie has to perform as a changed

    Agreed.

This is one of the few anime themed food places I’ve read about where the food actually looks tasty

Leave it to Apple to announce a bunch of indie tier games of which there’s plenty (and really good ones) on consoles and PC while acting as if it’s some new and innovative approach to gaming that only Apple can make

The gameplay is fun, the stories and sub stories are really enjoyable (more so than any Rockstar game IMO) and it has a unique quirkiness that some people just like.

    Yep.
I understood and shared the dislike for the forced romance after they promised not to do that.

Unless it’s notoriously improving performance on Consoles (and adding a 30fps lock)... it really isn’t

I’m just afraid all of that will be in this too

I prefer to play, watch and, if possible (though it often isn’t), read everything in its original language so when I picked up Metro Redux on Ps4 back in 2014 the first thing I did was set it to Russian.

BUT it had a big issue which forced me to change back to English: There were only subtitles for the “main” dialogue.

    Great direct with awesome announcements.
That new platinum game and the Link’s Awakening remake both looks awesome.

    Fire Emblem though, hype gone.
Not that the franchise ever had the most amazing world or story but a high school setting? Really?.
It killed my interest in Valkyria Chronicles 2 and it killed my interest now

Maybe, maybe not. I didn’t know him and I don’t work at Nintendo so I couldn’t tell you.

Either way I like this “we screwed up and will take responsibility” attitude better than “we screwed up so we have to cut hundreds of jobs to make up for it…..while getting our multi million bonuses”

    So?

Remember when Iwata (and the rest of the board) took a 50% cut to his $770.000 salary because Nintendo wasn’t doing as well as expected?.

A shame that the Activision CEO only makes like $30 million and can’t afford it

Tatsumi Kimishima suddenly wakes up in the middle of the night. He feels heavy, a cold sweat running down his back and a piercing chest pain makes it hard to breathe.

And THIS is why you don’t announce games when they are so early in development you have nothing but a logo to show

Just going to say that Ash has been on his pokemon adventure for over 20 years and has yet to win a league.
So... I mean, he might be the kindest or friendliest pokemon trainer, sure... but there’s definitely something in his strategy to become “the best” that’s not working
