I found out the hard way that if you press and hold the 9 button on a cell phone it automatically dials 911. I was in a friends car on the way up to a concert and apparently accidentally called the emergency dispatch in my pocket twice. They called me back and told me in a nice yet stern manner to disable that feature

I feel more sorry for the people working retail during the holidays, they are taking the brunt of people almost just as bad, and they assumably didn't even grope a child/adult. I once had a job that sucked and I hated going to, so I quit going and found a different job that I didn't despise. I suggest these people do

I have been wanting to do this to my netbook for a long time . I am not afraid to tear it down to install anything hardware wise, but once installed and put back together, I am a bit sketchy as far as the software I need to utilize the touch, and how to install it.

@akuma_619: That was my main concern when I started using my tv as a monitor. But I bought a cheap Element brand 32'' tv and have had no issues at all. I have even left the desktop up on the screen for hours accidentally and even then no images retained. After having such luck with that tv, I have now also hooked up

@Snafu77: You are my Holiday shopping hero. If all businesses followed the model you just presented, I would do alot less shopping online, and more in store.

@Hami83: Keep drinking the kool aid.

Some day we will all look back on this from the bunkers we are hiding in from the robot over lords, and laugh.

Something tells me they wouldnt have been smiling if they were sitting in todays airports. The title of the movie would have probably simply been trains and automobiles.

I'll believe ya when me shit turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet.

@OMG! Ponies!: I bet OMG! Unicorns! is buying one though..

Looks kinda cool actually, though I assume it will be more of a novelty at best. I can't see using it to actually produce anything, but it would be fun to play with. But for me, I will stick with some real vinyl and Searto with the ol' DJM 909. The coffin its all in may not be quite as portable, but meh.

@The5thElephant: I don't think all the complaint is being naked in itself. I would rather stand actually naked in front of someone than jump into a radiation booth. That way the there is also no form of picture taken to be saved or shared, aside that poor guys memory. The method they are using to "keep us safe" is

Even if the pilots and staff succeed, all of us passengers will surely be going through the same process we are now. But hey at least it's a step in a forward direction for once, be it a tiny one or not.

@tw0 bears: I would ask to see his PHD, only my doctor is allowed to touch me like that.

I would have just used staples.

@Arcane: Great, because of this comment I am going to be expecting the same screening process imposed in the airport now at the outside door just to get in the airport to be screened again. Never give the TSA an idea you don't actually want to go through, they seem to be most often the ones put in place. That ferry

@slowtraincoming: Your right and I won't try to persuade you otherwise, but doesn't it really help drive the point home? Hearing about it is one thing, seeing it really puts it in to perspective for people who may have otherwise overlooked the article.

I like the sound of this. I think I just found moms Christmas gift for this year. Hell had I not talked myself into a Galaxy Tab I might have even picked one up too.

I was just thinking about the whole free 90 seconds of a song thing. Sorry if this has been covered in the actual article for it, but bands like Rancid and NOFX have tons of songs that are under 90 seconds. Was there any exception in there for songs like these?

If nothing else it shows this guy has some character, and judging by the wallpaper on his monitors, he is probably a fungi to hang out with.
