Now this is art I can get behind. I have never seen an Apple product look so...beautiful.

Leave a good tip and you won't feel so bad about a meal that was discounted, and will probably wipe that dirty look of your servers face if she asks you about them again. Everyone wins.

I have no gripes about mine. Works great in my bed room to watch movies up to 80" and also has a spot to screw on a tripod which I noticed many pico's were missing. I personally havent run into any codec issues, but its understandable. Like they said, it's no home theater as you would expect, but it works great for my

@\m/ chaosphere \m/: That is exactly the stupid look people give me! By the way, got a Baby Ruth?

@\m/ chaosphere \m/: You get a heart and an electronic pat on the back just for knowing what that is, I generally just get stupid looks from people when I use that term because they have no idea what it means.

I wouldn't mind having one of these for an htpc with slightly better specs, but not at that price. Great looking little box though.

@\m/ chaosphere \m/: At that price even a blumpkin is an order. But I agree I also love the design.

@Nowell: I certainly wish I was in central Florida, but alas, I am in the complete opposite part of the country...Minnesota, cold and no palm trees. But if I vacation there again like we have been planning here in December you will be the first to know. I won't be able to bring anything other than cash with me after

@shooter: No speakers on the work computers unfortunately. I can't even watch most the vids posted on Giz at work because anything youtube is blocked out by a filter. Not worth risking my job to bother bypassing it though really.

So that video was taken after the engine exploded? I watched the whole thing waiting for something to happen. No dice.

@Nowell: I have seen alot of other products that look just like and claim to work as well as the volcano, but even the people selling them said the volcano was far superior to all of them in performance. I guess I would like to try them myself, but even those said "cheap" variations are still about $300. I am not sure

Funny the first thing that makes me actually consider buying a new ipod is Android. Ah irony, you never let me down.

I'll admit I love my volcano, but I don't think Iwill ever figure out how people can justify the price of one. (Mine was free)

Wow, that's sexy, and with just the right amount of bezel. Oregon trail anyone?

So a few questions, what powers this? Will it take a toll on your ipod battery? If so how much? Does the latest model ipod fit in it? Is this strictly for data or can you make calls/send texts in some fashion?

@dsprehe89: You started that fire? No, but that was pretty awesome huh?

@Misfit7707: That was my exact initial thought as well.

With these guys track record of OS updates, It will probably launch with 2.1 installed and be upgraded to 2.3 by the end of 2012. Hardware looks great, but the name on it negates any chance of me ever having one.
