I guess it's kind of funny they are reviving this franchise at this point, considering how much this movie has been panned with hindsight. I mean I saw it again recently and it's just awful.

As a lover of King, this is one of my least favorite books by him. Flanagan is a brilliant director, I would have liked to see him do a novel like Insomnia or Revival. Or even one of his short stories - “I Am The Doorway” and “N.” come to mind.

And how in some ways they were completely unique, in others very similar. From advanced societies that operated without currency, to the ethnic cleansing that the Haudenosaunee committed.

I don't know - from everything I've read it seemed Britain knew they'd lose a ground war but planned to push for a blockade until America relented. Would have been interesting if we pushed that issue instead of invading Texas.

And about the same politically as Alabama.

The UP is really culturally different than anywhere else in the ‘States. They really should be considered for a new state.

Prime example of how women should not be automatically believed because she cried rape. A person is accused of stealing a car or committing murder, they aren’t automatically assumed as guilty.

It's imperative that enough people don't tune in so their numbers tank - this is the only way to get to these people.

Oh yeah, I hate women so much I’ve been a firm supporter of Hillary since ‘08, marched in events supporting PoC women and argued on behalf of the women in the developing world for a decade. I’d bring up nearly all my good friends are women but that sounds too close to “I have a black friend . . .”.
