Wasn’t there supposed to potentially be a new Timesplitters? That would be sick. Also if they just made the old ones available on modern platforms. That would be cool too.

Campaigns in RTS games are great, because you can still play them if you suck. If you’ve never played Dawn of War 2, I recommend that next. Sick campaign.

I’m still playing Trepang2, but I’ve added Brotato to the rotation. Also FFXVI, but I think I’m burning out on it. My PS5 says I’m 44% through it. I dunno if I have it in me to finish such a shallow but long game.

Part of me wants to hook up my Switch and get back to the Hyrule Warriors grind. It’s really satisfying

No Ancient Bonesaber of Zumakalis, who cares?

I’ll only preorder for a discount, now. I got Elden Ring for, like, ten bucks off or something. It definitely isn’t a black and white thing. But yeah, better to err on the side of not preordering if you’re not even going to pay attention, or if there’s no reason to preorder it.

Seriously. Kotaku and plenty of other outlets/people have been saying for years. Stoooooop preordering. It used to be useful 20 years ago. There is no danger of you missing out on games now. (Outside of limited collector’s editions or whatever.)

Play Trepang 2. Thank me later.

It is like that combat, and I like it. I do wish they let you swap between party members. They could have stuck with the Stranger of Paradise setup (minus the crazy amounts of gear), and let you “use” the characters you want.

I think it’s weird that they went with crafting the gear, but maybe they thought it would lure some folks in. I don’t think it’s drastically different than older games, where you show up in the new town and buy the upgrades for your party. There never was a lot of choice until later in the games when the gear kind of

What would that game even look like? What would they work on? Because tons of great shooters have come out over the years and none of them have been able to do it.

I’m not sure making a game specifically to take down another game is a viable gameplan.

Seems to me like, for all the bitching about the style, D3 is the more interesting game to look at, too.

This was the only possible outcome. Capitalism fosters this. It’s really funny how often you see an article or comment that’s like, “Wow, I can’t believe we live in a system that rewards greed and for some reason a bunch of people and corporations are being as greedy as possible!” Yeah, what else was going to happen?

“Now, please let all of the uber-entitled keyboard warriors eager to take up the cause of the week flame me below. Your rage fueled tirades will only serve to make me laugh.”

I like how you write your own tirade and then just immediately, preemptively shut down any possible response by dismissing them as written by

I’ve seen at least a couple (probably more) videos/articles about how Reddit is the new Google. I think it’s very common to add “reddit” to the end of your search, because you’re almost guaranteed to find a Reddit post, and Google searches are becoming useless otherwise.

You are not alone.

Played the demo and had a good time. Definitely excited to grab the full game next week. The eikon battle is pretty wild. I wonder if they’ll all be like that.

You will chat with your friends and you will like it.

It is sad that there won’t be another one (for now). But at the same time, like, can’t some things just exist and be awesome on their own? I know it’s a sequel, so this is kinda dumb to say. But if there’s no justification to make another one, then let’s just have the one great game. I don’t need there to be six more.

Each day’s breakfast sandwich more important than the last.

Unless Google is lying to me, he just looks like a guy. I don’t get it. What are they bullying him about?

It essentially means “it’s giving a 1995 vibe.” Shorter hand.
