Holy shit, haha. Season 12 is where I would argue it starts to go seriously downhill.

I was 17 when that aired. So maybe you could argue that my love for the classic seasons is nostalgia. But if that were the case, I imagine I’d be more lenient into later seasons. The writing seriously drops off around season nine,

I keep The Simpsons on in the background all the time. I’m on my, like, third rewatch of the first ten or so seasons, this year.

Bart saying “eat my shorts” isn’t what’s funny about classic Simpsons.

Ugh, the worst part is, they’ll find someone desperate enough to take the deal. Not that that’s the individual artist’s fault. And I imagine we’re not too far off from large corporations just using AI art generators for whatever Epic was looking for.

I hate the world we live in.

The real zombies were the friends we lost along the way.

Fair. That popped into my head right after I wrote the comment. Not sure why it never occurred to me before.

I always wondered why they were races and not species. As someone else pointed out, there are multiple races of the playable species. So race just makes it confusing.

Can confirm. It’s boring as hell. Uh, hypothetically.

That’s why I rip my shirt off and flex real hard every time I slam a can. Which is, like, three or four times a day. I’m running low on shirts.

People like different things?

Not even getting the benefits of the caffeine there. I swear the caffeine-free one goes flat faster, too.

The only thing I was playing on my Switch that I don’t already have on PC was Hyrule Warriors. I can’t envision another scenario in which I’d pick up my Switch over my Steam Deck. Maybe Breath of the Wild 2? Glad I grabbed that instead of a PS5 or Xbox. Either of those probably would have collected dust, too.

Currently

It can chug a little when you’ve got a shitload of weapon effects and they’re all gigantic, with a ton of enemies on screen. The Switch can probably do it, but it’s definitely gonna have to work for it.

Oh damn, GROSS looks good. Tower defense games are great.

I’m loving the mix of genres we’re seeing in the last couple of years. I’ve been digging Rogue Tower, a roguelike tower defense from the beginning of the year (that maybe I read about here?), and Gunfire Reborn, an FPS roguelike maybe also from the beginning of

I haven’t really looked at them, but mods seem to be available on the console versions, too. I doubt there are as many? But at least it’s an option, I guess.

If it helps, it’s only 50. So that’s a start. Also, for better or worse, I’m sure it won’t take long for the price to drop.

One of the games I was looking forward to this season. Glad it doesn’t suck.

You know, I was just poking through my movie folder, and I uh... borrowed A Bittersweet Life at some point and never watched it. I need to get on that.

Appreciate you. It’s probably for the best. I was miserable anyway.

I just got laid off. They gotta stop.

Yeah, I definitely liked Kate better of the two. Maybe I’ll go back and watch it again.

They should probably just keep her out and think about a rework. The loss of the ability to freeze people really made her kinda lame. Like the wall is fine. The slow is... okay? I dunno. Feels like a real hamstring.
