Reminds me of how Auron from FFX is supposed to only be 35, lol

the shuttering of their competitive league tells you everything you need to know about the playability of OW/OW2. Going from 6 to 5 and basically calling an update a new game was the nail in the coffin for me.
As a Dad with Dad Power approaching 9000, I’ma say that the “Last of Crust” pun alone made the whole exercise worthwhile.
It’s gay twitter slang and you have to accept it without complaint unless you want to look like a homophobe.
I can accept the premise that Ashley in the 2005 original was little more than a gameplay feature, and her characterization is not deeper than that. It was a fault, but a fault of its time.
If it has no effect on anything than why was it snuck in after launch like an embarrassed student handing in their late homework assignment?
It’s the “sneak it in after launch” thing for me that makes this feel gross. They did it on purpose because they know there are plenty of people who don’t buy MTX games out of principle or otherwise would criticize the game heavily for it in reviews and such.
So everyone’s cool with Activision again now?
I think Bill and Frank’s happy ending in episode three is exactly the dose of hope needed to make the rest of the show have stakes.
Absolutely beautiful *and* guaranteed to piss off all the right assholes.
Loved it (and so glad they took this route instead of the game version).
I love how "I like to do my own research" has become such a convenient shorthand for me to instantly dismiss the person saying it as a complete fúcking moron.
I would love to write lists of “11 XX Genre Games You’ve Never Heard Of”, but people don’t click on them.
Or she could just not be a jerk? Why would all the users need to completely change how they take in news?
For future reference, you ought to be able to write a head line without spoiling anything. Yeah, I know, the show is supposed to make you feel like sh*t at times, but please, for those of us who hasnt gotten to the episode yet - leave that kinda wordsmithin out of the headline.
You’re missing the point, ace. You navigate to Kotaku’s frontpage, a huge article pops up with a header spoiling the episode (for some who are sensitive to spoilers). They can’t avoid that spoiler unless they simply don’t navigate to Kotaku’s webpage.
How about “Last of Us Second episode is intense” or something else and put the spoiler in the article?
Or they could just use a different headline..
Oooof. I was going to say ‘why in the world would you let your artist handle something so sensitive’ but I guess there’s only four people on the team. Maybe time to branch out and add a PR rep....
The very simple reason why OP stuff in PvE-only games gets nerfed is because it makes the game more fun. Not even kidding.
I am deeply offended by this concept. It’s one thing to attempt to fix your internal issues by simply rolling out what some people think you should have done years ago, but this is just wrong.
