@DIOX-HOL-STER: Actually, the settings are saved in the registry and load during boot. There's no need to flash a new BIOS simply to change/maintain clock speeds.

This really only tells you if the TRIM command is being sent by Windows. I don't really know of any definitive way to check if TRIM is actually working (on my non-Intel SSD).

I have a Spyderco sharpening set that works nicely. It comes with 2 different stones—one for more coarse sharpening then one for fine sharpening. It also allows you set the stones at the proper angle so you just need to remember to keep the blade plumb.
