It would be interesting for Steel’s daughter to meet Lois

It’s the same principle that, while it took Clark, Jordan, and Kara years to develop and hone their super-skills, any other Kryptonian exposed to a yellow sun instantly develops powers and knows how to use them.

They did not even TRY with that JFK beyond the dollar store fake teeth.

-Rory’s a writer, of course he has words. We’re just lucky, genre-wise, none of them were “turgid”.

I think that moment of panic in Luke’s eyes when he couldn’t open the car door was a nod to the fact that Paul being out of the picture isn’t actually a cure for Luke. Paul may not be the best thing for Luke’s brain chemistry, but at this point, Luke has issues that can’t easily be solved. As does Paul.

With absolutely anyone else, something like the Daniel Tiger scene would feel completely ridiculous and cheesy. But because it’s Fred Rogers, it’s 100% believable that he’d go out of his way to approach a child who seemed unhappy and coax him into discussing his feelings. And it was definitely the right choice to not

Can we talk about HOW GREAT Phylicia Rashad was in her moments? “I am a woman of the times." LOVED IT. Just sitting their spouting wisdom and I am buying what she is selling. Really moving scene with her and Beth on the sofa. This show has such a strong ensemble and she effortlessly makes a huge difference in the

Thank you for putting this clearer than I could.

Also consider how rough that year must have been for her. It’s her 2020. There’ll be people I haven’t seen since March of this year who, once I do get to see them, hopefully next spring(?), it will have felt like a decade.

The music swells (again, and again, and again), there’s hugging and tears, and it’s so clearly and obviously manipulative that it sets the rest of the hour off on a bad foot almost immediately.

Just watched this episode and you have spoken the gospel. Thank You.

Excellent Adventure is a lot of fun, and is very rewatchable, but Bogus Journey is a really underestimated, and absolutely insane, movie. It sort of reminds me of Gremlins 2 in that it’s a sequel that just totally went for it with ball to the wall weirdness. It doesn’t surprise me that this movie sounds like it’s more

Don't care, will watch, will love.

I’m just impressed that in this economy you’re able to hold down multiple jobs as a  postman, plumber, pizza deliverer, and toothpaste manufacturer. Takes guts, made up person.

I don’t give a shit if you get sick. Just make sure to quarantine for 14 days after going to a public space to watch a movie that you can see at home so you don’t spread the virus to any other people who decided to make the responsible choice.

I think this is the right call for this movie, but that AV Club is making the wrong call for movie reviews generally.

After hating Picard and Discovery, I was REALLY hoping to have the reaction you did!

Aren’t jokes supposed to be funny?

well it did here, so.....

“I bet it’s spelled b-o-r-e-d” is the funnier punchline
