My money is on them making a copy of Clarke’s consciousness in the Flame, and then transferring that onto the chip Josephine is stored on. Josephine’s data gets overwritten, and then they use Sanctum’s technology to basically restore Clarke from backup into her original body — the way you’d use a backup of a PC stored

Given how freaked out Murphy was by his brush with death, I think he would absolutely sell out his compatriots for immortality. But I think he’s smart enough to know that Josephine will never deliver on her promises.

I’m sure Kane was only near-death until Henry Ian Cusick’s obligations to “The Passage” had been completed.

The difference is that people in our society sacrifice their lives for institutions and principles that have been developed over many generations. And in those circumstances, there is a risk of death rather than a certainty of death.

In this case, one elite cadre of people have created a whole faux-religion to trick

What I find interesting is that the technological mechanism for the Primes’ immortality is very similar tech to the Flame, except it overwrites (or at least suppresses) the host’s consciousness, rather than working in concert with it.

The sound of seagulls. The shore slowly comes into view. And there’s Charlton Heston, on the beach, wailing next to a semi-submerged Statue of Liberty.

These days, the wisdom of representative government doesn’t quite have the sheen it once did.

Now renew “Cloak & Dagger”!

Monty (dying wish): Be Better!

Every time somebody talked about how Jon would be a better ruler than Daenerys, I thought back to Bronn’s statement to the Lannister brothers: It took cutthroats to establish the great houses.

The ongoing bit with Sansa-centric takes on other series titles hasn’t made me so much as smile once, but I do appreciate the commitment.

Tika Sumpter is a great actress, but she looks nothing like Anna Deavere Smith.

Obviously, if he faked the incident than he was smart to take the deal, and he’s lucky that getting fired was the worst consequence he faced.

When he opted to accept the deal from the Cook County State’s Attorney, he forewent his opportunity to clear his name in open court.

There was a good twenty minutes of runtime between scenes, though.

This is the first week in a long, long time where I liked both “Arrow” and “The Flash” better than “Legends of Tomorrow”.

I love Quentin, I love Jason Ralph as Quentin. He’s been the heart of the show for four seasons, and our main POV character. But this felt like the perfect ending for Quentin’s story. If you’re going to go out, going out saving the multi-verse ain’t a bad way to go.

Probably won’t be a lot of time for that later on when everybody’s killing everybody so they probably figured: Fit it in while we can.

I enjoyed it a lot more than the author of this news post.

Love how this episode captured Phyl’s complexities, manipulating Duke to cover her tracks, but then voluntarily giving up her car keys so that she never risks her granddaughter’s safety like that again.

Also, farting to shut down a conversation that Sam wasn’t ready to have.
