At fault for the double doink? No. At fault for every other goddamned kick he missed last year, costing the Bears week 1 and making other games a lot closer than they should have been? Absolutely. His body of work was shit all year.

As a fat guy who grew up downstate and has lived in Chicago for 15 years you are wrong and should be ashamed of this take. Any city who claims the combo Italian beef/sausage as a viable food option can’t get upset when their country cousins give them cheesy deliciousness covering a meat and potato cannonball.

Respectfully disagree with you on this one. I tried the Cheetos popcorn chicken last week and they were too greasy for my taste. It might have been because I had the Georgia Gold tenders for my dinner and the popcorn chicken was because of “Wait, what the hell is this? Cheetos? That sounds disgusting I have to try

It’s not a fucktomb. I haven’t buried anyone I’ve fucked there. At least not since like 2000 at latest.

Your book sucks

The best kicker in the history of the team wants to come back. No deal has been made. The only good player on the University of Illinois football team was their kicker. Anyone living in Illinois knows that if you can kick in windy, shitty Champaign you can probably kick in less windy Chicago. That guy is with the

I think Boston is doing trolling stuff too. Knocking the stick out of the goalies hands and not getting called, the continued existence of Brad Marchand, Robert Thomas getting charged by Krug, Alex Stern getting interfered with in open ice not long from the missed call on Bozak that led to the goal. They just aren’t

So a player wasn’t penalized for a hit, and the player who was hit is fine, but it’s still a suspension? Sounds like all those salty Boston tears from coaches and fans have yielded a result. Guess bad officiating is only good when it benefits their football team.

Bad officiating works both ways. Bruins player deliberately knocks the stick out of Blues goalie’s hands, no call. Krug clearly charges Robert Thomas and knocks him out of the series so far, no call. Brad Marchand exists, no call. Bad teams, bad players, and bad fans whine about bad refs. Good teams know they have to

Here in Chicago we elect rats as alderman and have them wear a wire against Ed Burke.

With all the complaining about no calls by the Sharks this playoffs, their benefitting even more from other no calls, and the completely asshole way they played the last period of that last game I think we’ve discovered a new species. The Great Pacific Bitch Shark.

3 series now the Sharks have won games due to questionable calls/noncalls. Now in all cases the other teams have to be good enough to beat the refs so they shouldn’t have been in that position in the first place, but at what point do we suspect that the fix is in?

As a follow up to that, on general topic, how insufferable is he going to be on social media after all this? It’s going to be somehow much worse right?

I think you just defined twitter.

Another thing that has priced a lot of us out is the damned surge pricing that pretty much everyone uses now where in demand games are more expensive than weekday games. Some of us pretty much only have availability to go to games on Saturdays due to our schedule and looking at my team’s prices for a Saturday game

Certain languages still don’t pronounce the F sound. My in laws are Filipino and the Tagalog language they speak does not have the sound. They are fluent English speakers, having lived here 40 years, but they still don’t consistently pronounce f sounds. Instead of sounding like Filipino when they say it it sounds more

Just build a space wall. That will keep those goddammed hostile aliens out. Make Earth Great Again.

I had a feeling from the outset he was making this up, as soon as the “this is MAGA country,” line from his story came out. Not because I believe that Chicago isn’t racist or not MAGA country or anything, but because it sounded like a hacky network tv writing. It just sounded lazy.

In my experience, present company excluded, most of the people I know who actually live in the city of Chicago are Sox fans. Cubs fans are usually white suburbanites living in the conservative exurbs, and their kids who live in Lincoln Park for 5 years after college before moving back to their exurb. So yeah, they

I’m not in any way trying to justify the beating that appears to have happened here, but don’t you think that it is suspicious that all the information we have here appears to be coming from the family’s legal team? Is it possible that some of this may be being embellished a bit by a lawyer looking at a monolithic
