Unfortunately, that is how media in general has been going for a while. They lack the balls to say something is wrong. That’s how we got the whole “climate change - the jury is still out” when all scientists that weren’t working for oil companies would tell you what was going on.

As much as the GOP claims to be “the party of personal responsibility” they sure like blaming everyone else for all their problems.

Since the line they’re going with is a combination of “maybe if Hillary wasn’t so bad” and “we really need to listen more to working class racists” I kind of doubt it. The media never looks at it’s own role in things except to pat itself on the back.

Agreed. They let this bastard slide during the election. He had literally dozens of things happen that would have destroyed a normal person’s career but the media was all, “oh, well - that’s our Trump!”

Maybe all newspaper offices need televisions with All The President’s Men running on a loop so they can remember what journalism looks like.
