Gabe’s take on this is so bad it feels like he had money on the game.

I live in Columbus and there is legitimate dread at the idea of having to face Joey Football at all.  Most of the fans say they welcome it but you see the fear in their eyes, man.  No fucking way that kid doesn’t play with his hair on fire against the team that said he was only a backup.

For a second I thought you were being a shit, but I was wrong and just primed for a shitty reply. This dude is for real a great guy.

I picked up a 2008 Jetta for next to nothing from a lady who had let it sit after “the brakes started making a noise” and just bought a new car. The VW had 50k miles on it, so I figured it would be stupid NOT to give her $1,000 for it.

Thanks for at least acknowledging it here. Watching most of those made me feel super uncomfortable for her.

I’ve played around 10 rounds so far on the new map and so far the loot distribution seems to be total crap. Giant buildings with maybe a pile of ammo or a helmet. The train, the one time we landed there, had 2 purple armors and a yellow so...I dunno, hopefully they spread it out a little bit.

I had somehow missed her age during everything, and honestly thought she was 12 or 13. So, yeah, this dude needs to be watched.

I was wondering if the sigh was “I can’t wait to get out of here” or “Gosh it would be nice to slap the shit out of this dude...”

This is highly under rated.

Feels like a case where the few people with any power got together, laughed a little at the band geeks not being able to take some good old joshing around, and chalked it all up to “Boys will be boys and maybe this will help those nerds get some thicker skin.”

I was probably 30 years old before I actually thought critically about the NCAA and what they do, and say they do. I’m 42 now and honestly I can’t really see what they exist for other than to make themselves and their partners money. I can’t honestly see them surviving in their current form for much longer.

I can’t remember the exact wording here so forgive me, but I saw a meme the other day that said something along the lines of “rape is the only crime where we use the argument that the temptation to commit the crime was too hard to resist as a defense. For everything else we call that a confession”
