You won’t get enough credit for owning your fuck up, but +1 for just taking it.

That’s always the first thing I think of when AB comes up. Seriously dude, his face was shattered and his attitude was basically: “meh.” You can’t help but have mad respect for a guy like that. ‘Tough’ hardly touches it.
Briefly between 2nd and just past 3rd he seemed like he was trying a little but beyond that dude looked pretty chill about the whole thing.
That is super accurate. I never thought about it like that but it’s such a strange period. Many things have been settled, yet we’re still rounding all those numbers out.
Ah shit, I snotted on myself. +1
I don’t agree. OSU basketball has gotten me to attend a few games, either through promotion or whatever, but I haven’t once been interested in going to the Crew games. ( I personally find both sports to be awful for different reasons) Media and hipsters tell us soccer is popular but my experience disagrees with that…
I guess, to me, in the broader sense it doesn’t feel like anything worth attending. On top of not being interested at all in soccer, parking and traffic there is absolute garbage.
I have lived in Columbus, OH. my entire life and we have an MLS team here. A couple things of note to me: I hate basketball and soccer but have actually been to a couple of basketball games, unlike soccer. The stadium sold naming rights to a company I have literally never heard of or have any idea what they sell which…
Can confirm. I used to manage a gas station/ice cream store and one day a crack head (presumably) came in to rob me. He held a 6" knife across the counter and told me to empty the register. With my left hand I started to open the register, and when he looked at it I slammed his wrist with my right, knocking the knife…
The arguments against using that machine are a little strange but you can tell why they don’t. It basically boils down to tradition and fear. The tradition side is obvious but the fear comes from the MLB thinking, perhaps rightly so, that it takes away a human aspect that people want. They believe, and again it might…
It’s the ‘old man poopy butt walk’. Toddlers have it, as well as some chimps.
Dude, the alcohol people OWN America. Literally every fucking thing in this country is sponsored by some fucking beer company. They use the laws to control commerce and people, period. Jack Daniels Whiskey is produced in a dry fucking county! (Meaning NO alcohol sales or consumption)
Water. It was water. No hate speech, no pushing, no venom. Water. IT WAS FUCKING WATER AND SHE ACTED LIKE SHE WAS BEATEN HALF TO DEATH. Holy fuck these fucking people. I have never seen such sensitive shit bags in my life.
Counterpoint: You sound like an awful neighbor.
In defense of more of Ohio than you might think: Skyline chili is a fucking abomination. I live in Columbus and had never had Cincinnati style chili so when I saw a Skyline when I was around 21, I thought “Hey! Chili dog!!” I thought the idea of spaghetti and chili was weird but I was there for a chili dog.
Started out as an offensive tackle but was undersized at 6' 260 pounds and was moved to FB/LB in high school.
It’s a bizarre dichotomy. I played football throughout jr high and high school but loved MtG and Blood Bowl(table top game), would spend hours playing Zelda and Castlevania. Now that I’m older, half the people on Facebook who were jocks are still total dicks and half the nerds still hate anything resembling sports or…
Why do you have to seem so self aware and thoughtful? This causes conflict for me. GO BUCKS!
Nice. I hope to see him on the field soon. GO BUCKS!
I’m not sure I consider it premature, considering his chosen profession. His job is centered around death. I guess he was just bad at his job today.
