No way an airbag is going to prevent sheet metal damage from a real collision. This is just adding an additional layer to help dissipate some of the forces. If you’re thinking a car is going to bounce off in a t-bone collision with no damage, I think you’re missing the point.

Red Bull is the elixir of life. Been drinking it since 1999 when a Brit introduced it to me at the start of a snow bike race. Went with the sugar free when that came out. I drink one 8.4 ounce can a day. Perfect cardio for my age. That being said, the amounts they were drinking in the study can’t be good for you.

The cars looked plenty fast to me, faster than Formula E cars. My only problem is too many of the cars have the same livery, so its tough to tell who is what and where. Maybe the series can get some sponsorships and diversify the paintjobs a bit, watching 3 cars with the identical livery battle eachother was…

To each his own. I find FE unwatchable... and I have tried. I keep watching and hoping for it to not be horrible.  I will try again if they try racing on a real racetrack in the future.

i like the fact that they will change cars each race, but its going to make it very hard to recognise individual racers, i’d love it if they could all choose a distinct pattern for their cars so it would be easier to see whos overtaking who

I found that race more entertaining than any Formula E Race I have ever watched.

A City Ordinance makes me think that this will only be enforceable by fines.

I had a nuby game light for my OG Game Boy and I’m still not sure how I managed to see what was on screen. I would probably need the magnifier to see it today.
