He stayed here and kept busting them, he wasn’t out of the way. I don’t see how that’s what the cartel wanted, but you do you.

I mean he lived out his term, while the guys who put $5 million up didn’t get what they wanted.
It’s in the eye of the beholder, we need to stop forcing unrealistic thickness standards on young, impressionable steering wheels.
I live in Colorado. When we legalized weed, a bunch of cartel guys showed up and started up illegal grow ops. Stealing power, water, and not paying for any of the permits; they did this as illegally as they could.
They’re never coming back for safety reasons. You don’t want a tire coming at you in the event of a collision. A spare up there that’s easy enough to actually use when you need it isn’t going to be secure enough to be in front of the driver in the event of a collision.
Thank God for our busted ass immigration system, it finally pays off!
Seems like he got away with it for multiple decades and only had to go back when he was almost ready to die anyways.
Have you seen Americans? We’ll eat ourselves into a foot amputation because minimal physical effort is too much to ask.
So let the known felon start a high speed chase? Got it, glad his prerogatives are more important than public safety.
He’s the Governor of a deeply conservative state, he’s openly Christian and was elected by a mostly religious constituency. I’d be more surprised if he didn’t ask for prayers.
And what happens when the unarmed traffic dude finds a felony warrant for the dude they just wanted to give a ticket to?
It’s irrational because people will take a cheap e-bike and just let it rot (or at least not use it as much) if you subsidize it without taking their car. The point is that it REPLACES an ICE vehicle, and if you let them keep the ICE vehicle you haven’t done that.
Nice program, but rebates don’t really help those living paycheck-to-paycheck. Even if they pay taxes they can get rebated on, that money is months away.
Cool, now do the math for new EV vs. used Accord. Poor people aren’t shopping new $30k gas vehicle vs. new $35k EV.
Raising it at this point is kinda pointless, no? All the rich will be in EVs in the next decade, meaning the only people still paying “gas” tax are poor people, making the tax even more regressive than usual. If “tax the rich” is what you’re after, this ain’t it chief.
Not everyone has incremental adjustments. I’d think a Hellcat would, but I don’t know for a fact it does.
A lot of them have just never been anywhere this dry. You can have a lot of wilderness experience but unless it was in a literal desert you’ve got a lot to learn.
Yeah they rarely definitively prove it, but in the cases where they do I’m shocked at how often it’s “out-of-stater doesn’t realize fire ban applies to him too”.
I just assume 90% of the problems from Denver are from California ex-pats, that assumption is right more often than not.
This.
