They were off to a good start with low glycemic index = less inflammation, that is pretty well studied. I don’t understand why they’d turn around and advocate carbs at all in that situation though, as even “low” glycemic index carbs cannot compete with the glycemic index of fats and proteins.

If you spend enough time next to The Rock everyone is going to think you’re short. Vin is 5'11", he’s not short but he’s not big either.

Yes it can be done. But not cheaply, which is Toyota’s main goal. If they wanted to spend money on sports cars they’d make their own rather than consistently outsource them.

All the long con to get elected Hillbilly Pope.

That, and firing 7.62x54r in full auto would be a real handful. You need a smaller cartridge if you’re planning on shoulder-firing in full auto; see NATO moving from 7.62x51 to 5.56.

I only lived in Florida for 3 years decades ago, so my hillbilly learnin’ has indeed faded.

I’m operating under the assumption that Elvis died on the toilet decades ago. If he’s still alive he is indeed a front runner.

Who’s the Hillbilly Pope though? Obviously it’s Dale if he’s still alive, so all we get are also-rans at this point.

This is easy. Forget the RV, stuff the big old dumb engine in the back of a small old dumb hatchback. Race at Lemons. Profit.

Not apples to apples if you’re changing hardware, swap the downpipe out on a GTI and that same tune is good for another 15whp easy.

Yeah, I see this all the time with “fat shaming” too.

I had one math teacher who ignored the proscribed curriculum (I think it was a discrete math class) and decided to spend a month on personal finance instead.

And get what? A few HP and a fix in the torque dip?

Yeah, I want the Toyota that wasn’t afraid to make the MR2. The most interesting Toyotas are now made by BMW and Subaru.

I’d imagine it’s quite a bit of work to fit an inline 4 in there instead of the boxer it was designed for. The whole reason these cars exist is because Toyota doesn’t want to expend any effort on them, so asking them to do a major redesign like that is a non-starter.

I’d wait for servers to wipe if you want to get into it. It’s always hard, but if you start now you’re only going to run into extremely geared and knowledgeable players.

This is what my family had for Christmas dinner. The store had to put 2 stickers on it because apparently their point of sale system doesn’t understand a single piece of meat costing more than $99.99.

Good point, I forgot he also managed a good portion of that which does complicate the matter significantly.

Yeah, and what Pete allegedly did wasn’t even this bad. From what I understand, he did bet on his own games but only on his team to win. That isn’t really “match fixing” so much as it is confidence in you and your teammates. Still not a good idea, but if that’s what he did his betting didn’t affect the outcome of any

Wait, did we think they actually had principles?
