As a libertarian I certainly fall more into the “all the guns” camp, but I think I can explain why people in our camp feel that way.

I’m an American and have never been to Japan, so my exposure is only with the US wasabi you’re referencing. I didn’t even realize they were different plants until this article. I always assumed the Japanese just processed the horseradish in some way to get wasabi because the taste was so similar.

The version of history where vampire Lincoln has to fight robo-Stalin is way more fun than what we got.

This.

Good job, and incidents like that happen all the time and never get reported on. Guns don’t have to be fired in order to be effective defensive weapons, just the threat of getting shot is enough to solve a lot of problems.

I mean I guess, just don’t try to rob me and it won’t be an issue.

Not my point and you’re wrong, so good job you got a two-fer.

Can you provide an example? I’m aware a lot of states have Castle Doctrine, but that requires them to be inside the house not just on the property somewhere.

It’s all relative.

You can sue anyone for anything. My advice would be to avoid confrontation with anyone crazy enough to put up such a sign.

Yeah, those disclaimers probably won’t hold up in court. I can put a sign up in my lawn that says I’m going to shoot anyone who steps foot on it, that doesn’t actually give me the legal authority to shoot anyone though.

It wasn’t a bad car, but I wonder if this is part of the problem. We already know the sedan market is shrinking rapidly, doesn’t seem like complicating your supply chain and assembly line to account for all these configurations is doing you any favors.

Agreed. A former boss of mine had a Fusion Hybrid, it was nice. Nothing special, I never drove it but I’d buy that it was a very bland experience. It was a nice place to sit though.

What the state of Michigan should do is direct all state law enforcement agencies to cease any and all support of CBP.

Yup, and you can see it with how politics get covered. “Obstructionist” Congress, “activist” judges etc.

Then they’d be responsible for all the backlash to the policy.

Man, if only these Congress people had a way to make this happen other than asking the executive to do it.

This seems like an effective deterrent, there’s no joyriding to be had with 3hp and any thief who wants to get away would be better served on foot than trying to move one of these land yachts with only 3hp on tap.

“You guys kept calling it a rebadged Subaru so we went full send. Hope you like it”

Sure, that’s what it’s supposed to do.
