You probably would’ve hated this Canadian kid’s show from the 80s called Today’s Special. It’s about a department store mannequin that comes to life at night. It also has a rather creepy looking puppet named Sam.

Never happen. The Meijer store chain is run by a family that is more religious than the owner of Hobby Lobby.

Samantha has very lopsided eyes. Also a lot scarier than Kim’s.

I am a midwife who has delivered 200+ babies and I can say that this is very true. 

Thanks. It’s been strange what’s been difficult - I took a shower this evening as opposed to the morning and I couldn’t even manage that long enough to do more than clean myself and rinse my hair.

Also, some recent analysis thinks that Michigan 6 is flippable, so hopefully you are moving to the southwest. Michigan 2 seems bleak, even in a non-gerrymandered future.

The state needs every progressive voter we can get! I live in the dark blue haven in the east (Detroit) so my votes will mainly count in ballot initiatives and statewide races.  (The Republicans don't even run candidates for most races in my city and county races.)

This isn't the world I was supposed to raise my daughter in at all.

I work in a social work department. One of my social worker colleagues had a text from one of his service users the other day. The text said “do you want to get together later for anal and then I’ll return the favour?” Then there were loads of texts saying “that wasn’t meant for you.”

Maybe his liver will fail in the next couple of years. He’s certainly done enough damage to it.

Maybe he’ll get cirrhosis of the liver.
