I’m not even sure it was accessed lawfully. Schools CAN legally share student information with law enforcement or CPS without parent consent, but usually only with regard to a specific student (and not just a blanket list of kids) and in the context of specific circumstances (an active investigation, CPS needing to int

Ha! Good, I’m NOT crazy then! Not because of that, anyway....

I swear I’ve read this one before- did you post it last year by chance?

I can totally see how that could happen. Especially since Tazo recently changed their labeling to a white box that is pretty similar to the chicken broth box.

Somehow I misread the headline as “David Harbour Looks Like Girlfriend Lily Allen’s Butt” and it still made sense.

Yeah I remembered her getting fired- for some reason I was thinking they were both fired. Regardless, I never liked him on that show- he was an arrogant prick even back then.

Ugh yes. And you know what he’s accomplished in Congress? Pretty much nothing.

I just caught my 3 year old sticking her finger in the peanut butter the other day and I yelled “Who do you think you are? Puck!!?” My husband rolled his eyes and told me that was a really dated reference, so I am especially happy to see this article today :)

She’s married to that guy from The Real World Boston cast who is now a Republican Congressperson from WI. And she’s pregnant with baby #9....at age 47. Both Rachel and her husband are useless windbags with no redeeming qualities.

I used it for both of my pregnancies as well- mainly just for the little “here is what your fetus is doing this week” updates and the little articles here and there. I just never uploaded my personal info beyond how far along I was.

Except if you need to do ANY kind of fertility treatments (including something as simple as one cycle of Clomid). Then maternity leave is not covered because it’s evidence the pregnancy was “planned.”

I had the same reaction!

lol doesn’t sound quite the same, though we do all live within about 2.5 hours of Chicago, so....maybe they’re related!

My SIL does that too. She proudly owns both “Mama Bear” and mommy/wine themed t shirts and LOVES to brag about all the teachers and principals she’s told off. As in “They’re all scared of me, they’ll do whatever I say because they know I’ll call the school board!” and “The superintendent is afraid of me!” Um no. I

Well when my kids are a little older I do plan to finish my clinical license so I’ll be sure to put the lamp on my thrift store shopping list! :)

I’m a school employee- we’re not actually allowed to accept gifts of more than nominal value- and alcohol isn’t allowed on school property by law so if a parent gave me wine, it would just end up getting tossed anyway. Note to parents: don’t give teachers wine. Plus how do you know they’re not in recovery? Kind of a

Right, but then presumably you’re not one of the “mama bear” ones screaming at the teacher for holding your kid accountable for their asshole behavior.

Ha! I’m not quite a therapist (school social worker, so I do short-term, solution-focused stuff and refer out to/work in conjunction with therapists for anything more significant), and I feel like I’m doing something wrong by not having this lamp! Although I do prefer the softer light of hand me down and thrift store

For people who are bipolar, stability, routine, and a solid sleep schedule are really important to keeping mania under control. So the Vegas residency provides that (as opposed to the constant travel of touring), as does the conservatorship.

I’m a mom (of a 3 month old and 3 year old), and while I identify with what they are talking about, I just find this whole “mom culture” thing to be really obnoxious- especially the constant wine-swilling mom trope. While I know it is exaggerated for the sake of “humor,” and I am certainly not against the occasional
