I usually look at A Mighty Girl website for recommendations on good books for my daughter. She’s only 2, so she’s not really into anything with much of a storyline yet, but she does like this series quite a bit. 

Studies have shown similar things for female patients- doctors are more likely to assume women are “just being dramatic” and dismiss their concerns. Not sure why it’s so difficult for some medical professionals to just take a patient’s pain/concerns/symptoms seriously, regardless of race or gender.

Exactly. What this article doesn’t tell you is that sexting (mainly sending each other nudes) has increased quite a bit So they aren’t having actual sex, but they are harassing, bullying and coercing each other to send nudes (hence the higher rates of bullying and suicidal thoughts).

Once I told my boss his outfit was giving me a migraine. But that’s because he was wearing a shirt AND tie, both with tiny little close together dots on them, like a Lichtenstein print. Every time I looked at him I thought I was getting a migraine aura.

I dunno- have you ever seen an interview with Brad Pitt? The guy is NOT bright. He wants to be (pursuing “academic” interests like architecture, etc.), but it’s just not there. 

I thought he was good looking when he was younger, but unlike most men in Hollywood who seem to only look better with age, Brad has just gotten more unattractive as the years go on.

Plus I thought I read in one of the previous articles that he had gotten out of prison fairly recently, so he probably violated parole conditions as well.

Well in that case, as a flaming liberal socialist snowflake, I can think of nothing that would upset me more than trump supporters using their precious firearms to shoot off their own dicks. Definitely go public. Call the local news. Talk to the NCAACP- they might have some contacts or suggestions for getting it out there on social media. Companies aren’t going to respond to those kinds of things unless they are publicly shamed/embarrassed.

I really don’t understand all of the cargo shorts hate. I feel like if they fit well and aren’t too bulky, they’re just fine.

I’m 38 and still use it (and my 60-something parents do as well). But I mostly just use it to see pics of my nieces/nephews and friends’ kids, post a few pics of my kid for them, and make smartass comments. No political stuff, and nothing serious.

My parents’ college friends lived in Lander so we used to go visit them when I was a kid. It’s a beautiful* area!

Ever since we visited Wyoming when I was a kid, my dad has been referring to it as the “don’t bother to comb your hair” state.

I can only assume that over time your dad has forgotten how exhausting kids are. Either that or he’s freakishly energetic for his age.

I’m currently pregnant and will be 39 when this kid is born. And I am really feeling like I’m too old and tired to do this again. Doing it at 55!? No freaking thanks.

It’s more than unwanted touching- usually it’s considered assault because it’s a bodily fluid and potentially subjects the person being spit upon to contagious diseases (though I would think disease transmission through spitting would be rare). 

I actually really liked them together. I never really heard anyone calling her a liberal Hollywood bitch, but then again I live in the Madison area. Probably waaay different in the Fox River Valley.
