In real life he was 10 years older than her I think. So when they got married, she was 17 (18?) and he was 27.

Fair enough. The DeVos side is on you guys in GR and the Prince family is our doing :)
I went to Holland Public Schools (ie the public school district in Betsy’s hometown of Holland, MI). In the 80's and 90's it was a very diverse district (ethnically and economically) with amazing teachers and good test scores. Then in waltzed Betsy and her cronies to start “charter schools” all over West Michigan.…
They put it on their website? Like they’re PROUD of it!!!?
I work in a small rural (conservative) district in WI. Our non-discrimination policy has included gay and lesbian students for at least 15 years and the board just voted to include trans students two years ago. No one asked them to, there wasn’t really any controversy about it, they just decided it needed to be…
The original poster mentioned her own struggles with IVF- she didn’t say anything about adoption or refer to it as “second best.” And yet the immediate response is to bring up adoption and say “wouldn’t [it] also be a shot at parenthood?”
I know you’re just asking an honest question, but please do not ever say “why don’t you just adopt?” to someone struggling with infertility.
I’m less bothered by the unibrow than I am by the body proportions on all of them (especially the frighteningly thin arms).
I know it isn’t based on their customer database, but it is based on a database, which is not necessarily accurate.
I cringed when I saw the ad for this. So we’re supposedly honoring these women for their accomplishments, but only after giving them the usual unrealistic and unhealthy bodies as all of the other Barbies.
Came here to say the same thing. Those tests are notoriously unreliable and are based on comparing samples to DNA they already have in their database, which is not a representative/proportionate sample of the world’s population.
Seconding the request to post SNS earlier. Once again too late for me, and I’m off to bed. Have a great evening, everyone- I look forward to skimming through the comments in the morning!
Seriously, I’d heard of her before but didn’t know she was running for governor. Up until now, I thought I was just going to be obligated to vote for Tony Evers.
Ughhh there’s some farmer with “I Stand With Scott Walker” and “Trump” billboards along 151 between Sun Prairie and Columbus and someone finally climbed up there and painted over them, but the guy had brand spankin’ new signs up within 3 days.
Kelda has got my vote!
Pretty much EVERYONE in this movie is unlikable, though. I also hated Julia Roberts’ character for turning into a complete psycho and trying to ruin someone’s wedding because HEAVEN FORBID she be single at 30. This movie portrays women as either flighty airheaded daddy’s girls or bitter “old maids” who gave up on…
It ended up being one of my proudest days as an educator- watching my kids politely and respectfully call out his BS with scientific facts while he grew more and more indignant before just all-out yelling at them brings a tear to my eye. :)
Because schools can’t really deny requests like that because then they get accused of being “partisan” and “indoctrinating” kids by turning away elected officials. Or at least that was the case when Ron Jonson decided he wanted to do a visit to the high school where I work. So we allowed it, but then our students made…
Especially because no doubt Access Hollywood has some sexually-harassing skeletons in their own closet.
Definitely see your doctor. Could be PCOS, could be something else, but see your doctor. Is an IUD an option for you?
