This is why I miss old fashion journalism. It used to be that you would wait until you had all your facts checked before you delivered them. Now everyone is trying to jump on the latest “tidbit” before the next guy that a lie can easily slip through and be taken as a fact.

Because God forbid a woman likes herself a lot. We’re supposed to hate ourselves! Feel ugly! And fat! Be self-depracating! “You’re cute!” “Me? Please.” And only post on Instagram the flaws we really don’t like (cellullite, acne, stretch marks) and say that that’s *~BRAVE~*. But God forbid if a woman LIKES herself!

Before anybody defends this ass, remember he got fired for a reason. We’ve seen police officers keep their jobs despite some really bad behavior before. It’s not easy to get kicked out of the force. So clearly this was bad enough he found no support elsewhere, and the evidence was bad. So save it and just come right

He’s just pretending to be dense, so that no one asks him to do laundry.

This is a surprisingly solid take!

I’m ok with this take.

Say what you will about the pizza mugger, at least he was straightforward about taking money out of the driver’s pocket. He didn't come up with bullshit reasons to not leave a tip, he didn't put a waiter through an hour of hell and leave a buck, he didn't come in with a complex plan to scam free food that he used

It’s weird that the media’s conception of NDT is like he’s a scientist in a superhero movie; someone’s a geneticist, yet they conveniently know how to build a robot that shoots lasers from its eyes.

I was watching Neil deGrasse Tyson on the news this morning and they were asking him questions about the hurricane. My admiration for him went up when he said that they should ask a metrologist this questions because he wasn't an expert in this. I liked the fact he was able to admit he wasn't the best person to talk

I know. I was being facetious.

I do this with any pie where the filling isn’t sticky (like apple pie is sticky). Pumpkin pie or lemon pie especially. The crusts on those tend to be super bland, so why bother with the calories? I just eat the filling out of it. That’s the tasty part.

My parents also enabled my picky eating habits. I am not an asshole about it, but I do genuinely regret that I only eat a small number of foods. I’m almost 30 and I still don’t eat any vegetables (other than pickles, I suppose.) I feel that I could be healthier and more energetic if I ate better, but my palate hasn’t

What does the first part of your comment have to do with the second?

Compassion fatigue? LOL you have to have compassion to start with, and probably be able to differentiate between Mexican-Americans and British Muslims!

Greatest tweet of all time.
