Here’s the thing: Kang can see what they show was trying to do with this more humanistic, empathetic detective story, attempting to branch out of the grim n’ gritty tropes of earlier seasons. But it did it SO POORLY.

Maybe this is why people think black folk can't swim; because every damn time we try someone calls the cops on us. And STFU about "eww, he had socks on". Do you really think the people themselves or their swimsuits are any cleaner (more importantly, do you honestly think EVERYONE gets out of the pool to pee?)

I’m pretty sure you’re not supposed to put your socks in the pool, swim with a shirt on, or let your baby in the water with a regular diaper.

Gross.

However, NONE of this is worth calling the cops over. None of it. The neighborly thing to do would be to offer to lend him a pair of flip-flops, or something.

You know,

I’m surprised no one submitted this by now...

it really sucks that we have no real recourse against this constant threat of murder and imprisonment besides calling people ugly and memes. they funny (sometimes) but the petty can never seem enough to make me feel good about this kinda shit. what the fuck. joaning on the shoes of the dude shooting seems to be highly

Did anyone see the White Power sign thrown by the cop in the driver’s seat? Check it out at about 1:39.

Because the mere SUGGESTION that their Pumpkin Spice Lattes may be threatened is damned near as threatening as taking a knee

I joined nextdoor just so I could find out who my racist white neighbors were.

If we have laws in place to deal with things like SWATing, why can’t those laws apply to the deployment of any enforcement resources that are fraudulently summoned?

They are also all over nextdoor.com reporting every Black person who walks through the neighborhood as ‘suspicious’. Never the white kids though...

When I lived in DC about 12 years ago, there was a story on the news how a man was beaten senseless, and left to die in a vestibule on a busy street— thousands of people walked by him, figured he was drunk, so he died slowly without help.

I dunno.

And even if your pancakes are free, please tip your waitstaff as if they weren’t. They’re doing the same amount of work they always do and deserve the same pay!

Yes. A lot of us don’t know how to be good guests. But I think more of us do than you would think by looking at our actions. I think the larger part of the problem is not actually realizing you are a guest, which of course stems from the whole attitude of owning everything. White people have this tendency to always

A good rule of thumb to follow when considering whipping out your phone in a sensitive location: (1) am I ever going to look at this photo that I’m planning to take?; and (2) are there already professional photos of this available for free online?

I have almost zero use for a truck anymore and I had the exact same reaction. But I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the Ridgeline, they innovated a lot of features on those which showed up across the board on trucks in the years following.

I feel like if you make kids do journals like this, and ask for their feelings about things, then you can’t really complain when they say things you don’t like. You asked. You got what you asked for.

He’s fucking 9, dude. Stop holding him to some asinine standard of professional behavior. (One that even most adults have a hard time following.)

A tiny bit of Sugru?

Do I get a point for mentioning Surgu? Isn't that how this works?

The title said better. The article talks about cheaper. I made the point that two dont neccesarily equate. You get snarky.
