Not a fan of revenge rape even if I can understand why they went there with Ruby.

What the fuck does the existence of a syllabus have to do with a show being didactic? If anything, the fact that people felt it needed a corollary syllabus to be used in teaching indicates that the show itself doesn't function alone as a didactic tool.

I guess you don’t care for Holocaust content either for your entertainment...

Because touching on a history that most Americans are ignorant of is “pounding people over the head”

Gizmodo is far from alone when it comes to reporting poorly on security issues, you’re in damned good company— but I think you dropped the ball on reporting this, unfortunately, and I hope you’re open to some constructive criticism. When it comes to reporting security vulnerabilities context, real-world-conditions

To “stan” is to be a tangibly supportive fan of something. This varies in degrees from “is willing to support the minimum tier on their patreon” to something more like “drove across the country to be at the back of the crowd while they get off of a plane”.

I have never fully trusted the pairing process, so I have always looked around in a paranoid manner when pairing anything. You could say I’m pair-anoid. ugh.

This post reminds me that it's not so bad.

The song came out on November 21, 2000. It can already drive, enlist in the military, and smoke legally in most of the US. Next year, it can buy alcohol.

I got bad news for you, friend: “stan” was around before “on fleek” and it’s not dying out any time soon. You may not have seen it, but it’s been a staple of the zeitgeist for at least a decade.

So you're tellin me you can just PAY celebrities to say random shit?

Lawmakers (as well as many other public officials) should not be able to control their stock portfolios while in office, whatsoever, it should all be placed in blind trusts, and I’m not even sure why they should be allowed to own stock at all. Even the appearance of impropriety is damaging.

“The Italians are already seeing a drop in incidence”

I’ve been telling people more than a month ago... it’s going to hit us hard if we don’t act now.

This is what I keep telling people that say “we need to get back to normal”. Shit ain’t gonna be normal for a while, like 6 months to a year. Deal with it.

Yeah the real experts are saying social distancing and stay-at-Home should continue for at least 4 more months.  Otherwise instead of flattening the curve, we will see it sharply spike about 3 weeks after the current actions end. To a tune of a 7 figure death toll in the US alone.

Mathematically, you have to have a 4 week window. Think about it.

Interestingly, our governor just announced the stay at home order until April 10th at minimum. He went through the straight math of the pandemic and essentially said, “Most of us are going to get COVID-19 no matter what we do.”

The portrayal of ONE mentally ill person as someone who becomes a killer doesn’t mean that they’re saying EVERY mentally ill person is, or will be, violent.

That was in no way the message of the movie.
