I love this. Especially since so many people (*whooping cough* *anti-vaxxers* *whooping cough*) don’t seem to recognize autism is in a spectrum and view it as worse than death.

I experienced similar with ADHD (which I think is considered “on the spectrum”)

I live in San Diego too. Now I’m off to check the seed packet that Bastyr hands out to patients.

I don’t get how someone let them in their car, but I feel like if she was well enough to arrange an uber pickup, she was well enough to call 911 or ask someone to call on her behalf. I don’t get how that’s on SoulCycle.

I would hazard a guess that there are, but they don’t feel comfortable leaving the department’s closet. :-/

I’m the same way.

I’m so sorry.

If only there’d been some way to have known he was a liar before the election.

Would you mind sharing the name of that?

Thank you :)

Thank you so much for your kind words (and hypothetical gif)!

I ended up getting one! Aside from the annoyance of using their cartridges (or hacking around them), I love it! :)

(Sharing this because I’m a firm believer in being open about these things in case it helps someone else who may be experiencing similar see that they are not alone. Especially since it still feels shameful, even though I get that it’s an organic brain disorder & not my choice/fault - sorry it’s on the long side!)

I’ve been spending way less time on Facebook and reading news in general, and find myself way happier as a result.

UCSD actually has a grant to help provide in-home services for people with hoarding problems, as well as hoarding-specific counseling. I believe it’s part of their OCD clinic (the two are closely related)

I’ve been saying the same thing. It’s gotta be the most plausible explanation for all this.

I think it’s great if it wasn’t staged, but even better if it was.

I started getting carsick just watching that video.

This is something I find confusing too. :-/

I hope this doesn’t sound obnoxious or contentious, I just feel a bit ignorant and want to better understand (vs., “It doesn’t feel like appropriation to me, so it must not be!”).
