“We” is the sports-watching public, smart guy. I even say in other comments I’m from Miami and a Heat fan. I actively dislike the Cavs and Lebron. I just don’t think the series is over at 2-0.

I don’t need any signs. What I’m saying is that the series is 2-0. You win the series by winning 4 games. Which means the Cavs still have an opportunity to win games and win the series, and the team was dominant enough to waltz into the finals, so I won’t consider their season over until they’ve lost that 4th game. I

I think you’re correct and your scenario for the rest of the series is likely. I would never say the Cavs aren’t on the ropes and in big trouble, and I’m not a Cavs fan at all (born and raised in Miami). I’m just saying there’s no need to rush to act like it’s already happened because we’ve already seen crazy

I’d say going 3-0 against a team that had just delivered them 2 losses for a combined 52 points like GS needed against OKC seemed equally if not more unlikely, but here we are.

Seems like a lot of rationalizing after the fact to make the Warriors back-to-back blowout losses some speed bump on the way to winning the series instead of the assumed end of their season like everyone was saying at the time. Kind of like you are doing with the Cavs right now. It’s real easy to write those losses

What about a 24 point blowout after a 28 point blowout like the Warriors suffered last round? I mean, I’m not rushing out to the casino to go put my paycheck on the Cavs. I’m just saying maybe we should temper our hurry to end the series now and let the teams do it themselves before we look silly like we all did in

Game 1 of the SAS/OKC series was every bit as bad as last night. Then they turned it around and dominated the series. I’m not saying it’s the likely outcome, but I just think it’s a little premature to throw dirt on the grave when these playoffs have shown us teams can dig themselves out of the the hole.

Name one thing from game 1 of the SAS/OKC series that would make you think OKC would end up dominating overall. Just saying a 30+ point blowout loss doesn’t hold any more weight than a 1 point loss.

How quickly we forget that we’ve already prematurely buried 2 teams this playoffs. The home team winning 2 games, even by a lot, is not series ending. It looks pretty bad for the Cavs, but you’d think that this playoffs would have already taught us not to fill in the rest of the series outcomes before they happen.

The bottle landed at Howard’s feet, and after taking a big cut and whiffing, he alerted a security guard.

He has the Evel Knievel and the Stuntman skin! That’s reason enough!

Fair point lol.

And also that Blizzard fixes games that are underwhelming at release. Diablo 3 stunk at release and they overhauled the game repeatedly until people liked it, and now it’s been 4 years and it still has a sizable, active, and satisfied player base.

In the short term, yes it worked. But that’s a bad way to run a business like EA, and when many of the people who paid into that short term success will balk at buying the next game because of disappointment with this one, it leads to long term problems. As I learned working in a restaurant, what’s important isn’t

Reminds me of the people who complain in TF2 about snipers shooting through walls when it’s actually their own bad latency that is the problem.

The International Olympic Committee is basically closing their eyes and sticking their fingers in their ears, with member Dick Pound calling the Zika worry a “manufactured crisis.”

Casey: Randy, terrible isos didn’t work, what do I do?

Yeah, totally agree. From his personality on the field, I would never have guessed Randy would be an insightful analyst, but I def enjoyed listening to him break down the game.

You might think this will hurt Cris Carter’s broadcasting career, but he’s probably got a fat contract lined up with Fox Sports and he’ll be bapping all the way to the bank.
