Did you even finish the 1st hour of the game? The amount of work that goes into creating video games these days and you pass judgement…

Lots of negative comments from people who’ve never played the game and are judging it purely by this small clip.

It’s the best new shooter since Wolfenstein, easily. It FEELS like old school Doom - yeah it’s slicker and fancier but the essence of it is very much there.

Game is currently 92% positive with nearly 1000 Steam reviews. Maybe you disliked it, but it doesn’t seem to be the consensus.

I feel the overall ambiance will be less dark & terror than Doom 3, which was fantastic :/

So you stopped after the intro to the game... When you have the least amount of guns, barely seen any demons, and no extra player abilities.

seems like this is set in the future of one of the Doom timelines (original games? Doom 3? the comic? the novels?) and our old buddy Doom Guy was imprisoned and sealed in a hell-box

I really wish they had brought back the classic status bar at the bottom of the screen with the animated facial graphic included. Obviously it would have to be updated and made slicker but I think it’s a huge missed opportunity.
