I have a “friend” that refuses to play as or engage with any female characters in games. I will never understand it. He attributes it to being an old school RPer, but that has never really made any sense to me, seeing how RPing allows you to do anything you want.

If I read the article right, they didn’t disable the mod; they just removed it from their own website. You can still get it at third-party sites, including ModDB. That sounds pretty close to the approach you’re recommending, no?

It seems Paradox is not interested in these types of mods being accessible through their Steam page. You may download all the questionable mods in the world through other sites as stated in the article.

To be fair to that last comment, I do wish I could mod it so my Imperium of Woman didn’t have any men in it. Alas I have to just enslave or purge my male pops. You know what they say, “Suffer not the Xenos, the Heretic, or the Man to live”.

This will probably get buried in the old comments here, but I really wish we could know exactly how much of Overwatch came from Titan. Because the official story is that it was like only a few things like maps, and that they’re totally unrelated beyond that. But so much of it sounds so similar - post-alien invasion…

Reading these old comments today, as Overwatch is about to come out, is pretty entertaining, not gonna lie.

It doesn’t hit those speeds often unless you are fooling with overclocking, but max it out and it’ll roar at you. Everyday use without tweaking it’s pretty quiet.
