There’s two ways to get a count of 6 SNL women. If they’re counting Season 43 cast including featured players, I bet the new girl isn’t invited. If they’re talking about the repertory cast from Season 42, my money’s on Sasheer Zamata telling them to get lost.

Getting upset about Lynchburg’s name / suggesting they change it is the exact reaction ESPN was thinking of when they pulled poor Robert Lee.

No guard rope, but it was on a raised platform - so the seat was about at stomach level. It was in a gallery space, not a regular state room. And yes, I wear makeup so I was horrified at the thought of little bits of powder and eye shadow from the bottom of her bag getting on that silk!

I’m an American who used to work at a major London cultural site. And my British coworkers LOVED to let me know what the latest stupid American tourist had asked them. (Is that France across the river? How do I get to the Coliseum? Where’s the American audio guide?) I swear, people turn off their brains when they’re

I can’t think of a non-fetishy way for a man to fill in the blank on an “I love __physical characteristic__ women” pick up line.

If you feel so strongly, I certainly hope you’re not among those of us who’ve speculated about Trump having a mental disorder.

She definitely would, since her attempts at campaigning for Mean Girls 2 and the live action Little Mermaid haven’t led to anything.

Right, no one will see this but I’m fucking scared about my future. I’ve only ever worked for non profits and I don’t know how my skills translate to corporate America. But my current non profit has filed for bankruptcy and I’m fucking terrified. I’m 32 with an MA and I feel useless and out of control.

I work for a museum that holds several important drafts of the Constitution. We rely on funding from the NEH to preserve the documents and make them available to the public. Republicans love to throw around the idea of the Constitution but they’re not so keen on spending money so school kids can see the originals.

Much as I like Alan Davies, I thought he should leave with Stephen so Sue Perkins could take his place as the jester. Can you imagine QI with Sandi and Sue? But maybe that was too many snarky lesbians at once for the BBC.

Yes, it always seemed like Ru the person identifies as male (if anything) and Ru the character is female.

There used to be a Jezebel commenter who would get very heated at any reference to RuPaul as “he/him”, male, etc. I never could figure out if they genuinely thought RuPaul was transgender and were trying to be supportive or if they were just very skillfully trolling.

Has the Gayborhood moved? It’s now around 12th-13th streets. Rittenhouse is too moneyed and stodgy.

He borrowed Jeff Sessions’s oathin’ hand!

David Boreanaz is one of those actors who I like enough to want to know he’s out there having a good career, but not enough to watch him in anything that isn’t by Joss Whedon.

She’s also no longer willing to discuss her sexuality in interviews, which is obviously her prerogative but I wondered about industry pressure - both to look a certain way and to not talk “too much” about being gay.

I honestly didn’t mean it like that. I have watched a ton of her interviews and she has said she hates having her hair down and being glammed up. I was just speculating on why she does it anyway.

I adore her, but it feels a little like some agent told her to femme up her image ages ago and the long blonde hair and magnum lashes are how she interpreted that.

Now playing

On the other hand, you have Shep Smith (!) on Fox blatently calling Trump out - though he does tend to say “untruths” rather than “lies”.
