I honestly haven't seen them in forever. And I agree, I think they'd still appeal to kids these days. Even taking in to consideration the fact that most kids now have even shorter attention spans, they could just break apart and build again ad infinitum.

I might be oversimplifying, but, wouldn't this whole problem be a non-issue if they went back to a big bucket full of random Lego pieces that any child could then use to build whatever their hearts desire?
