As Snopes notes, though, there's basically *nothing* left…at all, of any issues, as the slate was wiped in general, so there's not a strong association between that particular event.

I had the same reaction—"…What does this have to do with the Presidency?"
Sure it does! He has 23 distinct personalities. The 24th is just a repeat! Why, he could have hundreds of duplicate personalities!
I realize that, to most of the refined folks in the comics reading world I'm insane (in point of fact, I've typed something like the previous twice today…), but I like Lim's work more.
Yeah, that's the one I know isn't really an exception of course, but it's still one of the ones I'm excited about!
There are points on the hat in that photo…crown-like points…
I had someone try to defend that costume to me once…
I realize that I'm probably exceptionally weird (I get most excited when I pick up Aquaman, Blue Beetle, and Deathstroke)—but I dropped King and Seeley's books both. Neither one was doing much for me. Detective Comics is the only bat book I'm still reading.
I haven't, but I was generally discouraged from reading anything of his by my round of early exposure all consisting of terribleness. I vacillated on picking up a creator owned book of his to get a better idea, though.
"what a clever inversion of expectation to illustrate their point!"
I was thinking about this as well, interesting thoughts. Always points to make me think, "wait, do I have limits to how and when I agree to these concepts that are extrinsic to the concept itself…?"
RIP actual character of Maxwell Lord, we will clearly never seen you again.
It's something he understands and trusts to either work or be repairable without outside help.
Well, if you're going to assassinate the character of Max Lord, why not do it with a hacky retread of motivation of one of the most famous villains in the same universe?
I feel as though we've already addressed the fact that my head resides in alocane and all of its cool, refreshing properties
That's not where I keep my alocane! What a strange place it would be!
*de do do do de da da da
,,,John Cusack.
Excuse me, I don't mean to trouble you, but could you possibly be convinced to stand on a shelf?
How strange, my head does not reside in cool, refreshing alocane…
