This is getting a push, and it should do fine. Fox Searchlight is rolling out its release anyway.

Oh it’s definitely not an “audience favorite” type film. It’s very splendid as an actual film though, and compared to his other films, it’s even very “nice” too.
Well it’s not so much niche as it’s just really “different”. It should actually do fine at the box office, especially since it’s a critically acclaimed Oscar contender.
Well they use The Avengers theme all the time. It’s actually the only recurring theme they seem to keep around, at least until Thor: Ragnarok. It’s a great theme though, and I hope it gets developed more.
Yes, but it’s still two different reviews for the same film. That just seems odd, though I suppose it happens with festival films more often then not.
That trailer took a while for me to get used to, but once that music started playing, and I heard Brolin’s Thanos’ voice-over, I was instantly into it. Also I don’t think Thanos CGI is that bad, it looks fine to me.
Personally I thought Elfman’s Avengers theme was better then Silvestri, and his Justice League score is the best of the DCEU scores, but not great. I just enjoyed it more.
It’s a very hummable theme, in fact most of the main Marvel themes are pretty hummable. The issue is, is that Marvel has poor continuity, that seems to be changing a bit with Thor Ragnarok, which used Doyle’s theme and the Doctor Strange theme respectively. Hopefully Infinity War continues that trend.
That Every Frame A Painting video I’m not big fan of honestly. Here’s a rebuttal from Tony Zhu, that I think goes into the better reason why we don’t remember the music. There’s no theme continuity.
Didn’t you already post a review of this? Yeah, you did, just months before its limited run-release. Anyway fantastic film, can’t recommend it enough.
Or just straights “loons”, however you prefer that.
Yes of course, but those guys are thankfully few and far between.
Ajit Pai is a monster. Christ, talk about “ironic”.
Well there are a few non-morons, inbetween the insanity, but they are few and far between, and don’t make noise on twitter. Still it’s full of toxic people.
Like any news media, it has its up & downs.
The right wing media will spin anything they can as being positive for them. That’s not surprising.
Most alt-righters are morons, plain & simple.
She’s out for “revenge”.
Arnold Visits Arnie is one fine episode though.
Superman’s better for me. Supergirl, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Swamp Thing, and if you wanna count some straight to DVD Disney animated would also top contenders as well.
