Right? You can say “Well, bless your heart!” and it be completely a sincere expression of sympathy. But “Well, bless your heart.” Is never, ever an expression of sympathy. It’s all in relationship between the two, the delivery and inflection.

He really does think there is a black billionaire named “Fubu”, yet wants to lecture everyone on race relations. It’s adorable.

THIS. “Bless your heart”generally means something along the line of “poor thing, you are really trying and it is just not going your way” - which depending on context and tone can have all of the deeper meanings you listed.

I live in Kentucky and “bless your heart” has several meanings depending on tone.

well, zaphod’s just this guy, you know?

There’s also a huge problem with those who have mental illnesses and/or developmental differnces being mistreated (belittled, beaten, killed) by police. It’s a huge problem, and you’re right, it’s underreported. Which doesn’t diminish the importance of police violence against black folks; nor does attention to police

It must be nice to close your mind so completely to the disadvantages of others. Honestly, I don’t think you tried even the tiniest bit to understand the perspective of black people. Not “the blacks” or “Blacks.” If you learn nothing else at all ever, please stop saying “the blacks.” I am not a noun. My race doesn’t

Perhaps you can start your path toward empathy by not calling us “the Blacks.”

You sure typed a lot of words to say that you think black people are just being uppity.

Once I got to the OP’s first mention of ‘blacks’ I stopped reading ‘cause my blood pressure shot up and my eyes got blurry.

Again not saying racism doesn’t exist. But I do wonder if blacks have told themselves that they are oppressed so much that they begin to believe those thoughts.

It’s such a double standard. And in addition to the cigarette pushing, all that plastic surgery can’t exactly be “healthy”either; toxic botox injected in skin, unnecessary anesthesia, foreign objects inserted into boobs, risk of infection etc etc. Why does she think that she can be unhealthy and still be a model and

BWA HA HA HA HA HA *wipes eyes* Yeah, it was kind of like that.

YOU THINK THIS IS SOOOOO FUNNY. Haha. WELL THIS IS HOW IT STARTS, SUCKERS. A few seemingly UNRELATED stories: a girl in a tiara bites plane passenger. Homeless man bites people in Washington square park on St Patrick’s Day while wearing a diamond crown. Disgraced former scientist turned away from pentagon while

People forget that there was at least one armed guard at Columbine:

Yeah, I mean he does have a unique perspective as a survivor, but for him to use that perspective to make statements about what could have happened if only everybody had been armed is ridiculous. To me, he’s coming a bit from a place of wishful thinking. What person who had experienced something like that as a kid

Whenever people armchair diagnose celebs, it makes me feel less comfortable sharing my experiences and struggles with mental illness. If Kanye’s series of bizarre and out-of-touch tweets freak you out so much you think he needs to be hospitalized, holy shit are you gonna be fucking terrified of me.

I disagree. The only thing that falls under spousal privilege are conversations she had with her husband. As part of his management team, she would have been part of strategy discussions on how to handle settlements with accusers. Any written communication between Camille and Cosby is admissible which would include

These people should just keep their erotic fiction on their Geocities page or whatever.

Based on my research, it appears the Court ruled against Kesha’s request for a preliminary injunction, which is inherently different than what everyone’s reporting. Also, even assuming this were the Court ruling after a trial or summary judgment (which it is not) that still does not mean Kesha is forced to work with
