I think the problems lies in the fact that they’re willing to show Trump “deep state” ads, but they won’t show this.

Yeah, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel just assumed that the person they were talking to was Detective Williams, and the person on the other end of the line was perfectly willing to let them keep believing that to be the case.

She pointedly tells Charles that she absolutely did not text him. It was him just not believing her. There was no “killer using Detective Williams’ (DaVine Joy Randolph) phone”.

My first thought was of the Floating Market in Neverwhere.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure this episode showed that she was telling the truth about not being the one who texted them.

That's what I was thinking as well.

Agreed. This is very much a “we never saw the body but they must be dead” situation. And those never end up well.

Say what you will about Michael Rapaport, but the line about how the police have been getting “more anonymous tips than a Penn Station gloryhole” is worthy.

Gul Madred was an extremely hard role to cast, as the episode is basically a two man play where Madred’s actor has to constantly dominate the instantly commanding Patrick Stewart. Warner was cast at almost literally the last minute and only had time for a quick skim of the script, so he’s reading off cue cards for the

RIP David Warner. One of my favorite all-time actors whose presence just seemed to elevate any film or show he was in.

Do not move where there is no water.

I voted for Kodos

Remember when the AV Club used to send journalists to places so they could write articles? Truly, a groundbreaking approach.

Yes, but if you have Angela Bassett bringing the fury, it’s really hard to not share that with the world.

HE’S YOUR PRESIDENT, DEAL WITH IT! BIDEN 2024!
